Pros/Cons
Pros
- This product is great and affordable for small business (Tax preparers). The customer service is great.
- This has been the best and useful tax and finance software in the industry ever known. Customer support is the best team I have ever experienced.
- In this competitive environment pricing is very important. MyTaxPrepOffice is a great price, and the price is locked in for as long as you renew during the usual early Spring renewal season.
Cons
- This is causing clients to get letters from Kentucky that they owe taxes. We now have to amend those screwed up transmitted return to show what was actually prepared corrected.
- You totally ignored all the problems that were relayed to you last season regarding the Kentucky tax returns. You would not answer my calls, emails, chats, or let voice messages.
- Of those returns imported, many returned incorrect errors such as missing social security numbers, emails, etc.
Pros
- I access this system annually and I love how easy it is to help me reset my password. I also enjoy the how simple yet sleek the interface is.
- I have always been a remote preparer so that is nothing new for me or for them, but they do like this new platform after years of me trying to find the best fit. The customer service is unmatched.
- This will help keep me on track with outstanding requirements from my clients. No more writing notes and checking them off on paper.
Cons
- Customer Support has been irritating at times and hit or miss the rest.
- So much there that it is overwhelming. I was a bit confused with some of their terminology.
- Very few pre-made templates for the pipelines, inability to create a multiple line invoice, no texting (but we hear that is coming soon).
