You can go big or small. I most like being able to see multiple units on one page, including their distance from key landmarks, like restaurants and shopping. The guest quality is usually great, but Vrbo charges the hosts a lot more than competitor platforms, their website is slow/laggy, and their mobile app is next to useless. I do not like or require the hotel experience for travel, but have definitely been burned before by Airbnb with hidden fees and inaccurate listings online vs. IRL. Browsing on Vrbo has proved far easier with the amt. of filter options for any sort of desired features or amenities, and listings seem more reliable and well-reviewed. #### Cons I have not come across any direct problems with the software yet, but to my understanding not all listings can be booked instantly. No incentive was offered I was caught in the Global IT outage on July 19th. I live in Colorado and the VRBO we rented was in Atlanta. Due to the flights getting canceled we were unable to fly. We never left the airport in Colorado. United Airlines refund 100% of my money as did Enterprise car rental. VRBO REFUSED TO REFUND ME. Even though we never set foot in Georgia. Had I stayed at a real hotel I would have never had this issue. VRBO stole $700+ and there is nothing I can do to get it back. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. If I were to try out syncing my calendars, I'd start with Vrbo. I really like the report spam option when people are clearly trying to scam. I also like Vrbo's Host Support compared to other platforms I use. #### Cons I have multiple listings and multiple condos under one listing, I would love to see some management tools to help manage reservations, requests and inquiries. I'm not a fan of the 24 hour time limit on the clock once a request is sent. I feel as long as the host is communicating with the guest, more time should be given. I understand guests should have a timely response if you can host them but sometimes more time is needed. Many times I've had to decline a request and shortly after the dates become available. You are literally stuck at the login screen, they force double opt in on you, you ask for a password via text message, the message never comes (my phone is working though, as I receive messages from Google, Facebook, Airbnb, Booking.com, Stripe etc., just not Vrbo). After the message doesn't come for a minute or two, you ask to re-send the code in a message and it locks your account due to security reasons. Then, and I kid you not, you need to spend on average 2 hours with them to help you unlock the account. Last time I called with them was 2.5 hours on my vacation, before I could log in. It is ridiculous and especially frustrating, when you have urgent things to do. I will refrain from using Vrbo further, until this bug is fixed. And it was not fixed during the past 3 months, nor any incentive from the support to help out.
