I really like that it is very easy to put soundtracks and background music. I like that voice over its easier to use those other apps.

The major complaint I have is that there's no way to move certain kinds of text around the frame.

It's great for what I use it for. We make simple, fun and silly videos.

It was annoying that you can't add a thumbnail image to the film.

It can be a bit confusing to start using. Adding audio and then cutting the video can cause the audio to no longer be in sync.

You can clearly see the “Apple philosophy” in the interface of iMovie as it is as simple as a video editor can be. The elegant and clean interface is very intuitive to use and great for beginners.

When I first got into making videos for my Youtube channel I used an old camcorder and horrible editing software that was built into the camera.

Unfortunately they don’t keep master files so if you loose it you have to buy a new one. In our case our hard drive got corrupted and we lost it.
