  • Pros

  • Automate is feature rich and great for managing our clients desktops and servers. We love the ability to do patch management with this tool.
  • The remote program is really good. Very simple and quick when a caller has called in.
  • Cons

  • Definitely full featured, but a little too pricey to be used for stand alone in house Corporate use, really designed more for MSP's.
  • Again, I suspect due to the years of bringing the tools together, Automate seemed to somewhat stall/lag on added features for awhile.

  • Made studying very achievable by provding a avenue to create labs easily with various virtual machines without necessarily investing on additional hardware.
  • The cost savings we have realized by not having to purchase a physical server for each application we use has been the greatest pro.
  • Cons

  • Been getting INTEL-EPT compatibility errors for every attempt. Still sourcing for support in where ever I've been getting wrong in the process.
  • There are still some features missing that exist in Flash WEB client; vSAN monitoring is buggy, export of listed events/tasks,inventory is not possible in HTML5 client.
