Pros
- It was very easy to use, and gave you some great insights into what your competitors where doing to gain site traction and traffic.
- It really helps with keywords and understanding how the site is doing and what could be improved. They also offer lots of help and give great newsletters on what to do.
Cons
- The filters require you to be 100% specific and this leaves a lot of room for errors. It is hard to learn when you are starting out.
- I think the only problem we have had with this platform has been to use 100% of the tools it has, because it is very complete and has so many features that it is difficult to understand everything.
Pros
- The reports are comprehensive and useful for tracking statistics and visits, as well as identifying trends. It's ideal for daily monitoring and counting statistics.
- A simple code in header allowed it to be deployed across a website. The visual graphic reports were easy to understand.
Cons
- I haven't used it in forever, but last I checked, you had to put code into the header. For Wordpress sites, this can be a little confusing.
- I can’t think of anything negative to say about Statcounter. The only thing I can think of is that disabling the tracking of logged-in administrators would be helpful in the WordPress plugin.
