If you do not need all the functionality of Visio but need to diagram or show flows, it provides the ability to document processes and diagrams in a simple quick and easy manner.

They continually enhance this product to adapt to my needs and I actually have fun doing the designs I need to for workflows to brainstorming.

Gliffy allows you to create great quality graphics and share these easily. The price of the monthly subscription is ok for the amount of content you get.

You have to pay desperately for each integration: e.g. a paid for confluence license won't equate. Visio import has to be paid for.

The limitation on the color customization of the diagrams.

Can be great for first draft for getting ideas in flow chart or diagram to better view process, for development of operations.

I like the way to create minimalistic diagrams with entire icons, so this software allow my creavity.

I like the prompts and menus of the software, they make it easier to use than others, also has a lot of figures so you can easily design any kind of diagrams.

Gliffy is a great platform for quickly creating simple graphics.

It seems very limited to strictly flow charts of process flow diagrams. It's very hard to make other kinds of diagrams or mockups.

I like the fact that it could be used without any install on the cient, just in the Atlassian stack of appliacions.

Allow to host your models and diagrams in the cloud and versioned. User Interface very intuitive -Supports most diagrams and model.

Integrates well with Confluence and makes building ERD documentation a breeze. It's great to document requirements in Confluence, so they can be shared with others easily.

We use it in integration with confluence and is super useful.

Google drive integration is only limited to business team account. Export to Visio format is a headache.

For students or occasional users, the free level may well be adequate;  for small organizations, this is far superior in cost/benefit to Visio.

The ease of use and quick learning curve make Gliffy a top choice.

Worse than the limits is the performance for larger drawings. Once I've gotten into complex drawing with thousands of objects it gets INCREDIBLY slow.

The ease of use was particularly good. The drag and drop facility meant that diagrams could be completed in seconds.

It is very easy to edit and share diagrams made in Gliffy.

Very easy to use and build a flow chart or diagram of your environment in minutes. Although I have used Dia in the past this software gives more options to migrate data to Jira / Confluence.

Unfortunately there is no way to create bends or customize a shape such as an arrow. Additionally I haven't found a way to integrate the cloud version that my company paid for to JIRA or Confluence.

If you want to create interesting microinteractions in your prototypes Proto.io is the easiest and best looking way to achieve it.

Of course I took some more time to make the site very pretty, but Proto.io is a tool which is very easy to use (no need to ready any instructions) and brings impressive results in a short time.

This way, the prototype can be used on Sketch as well. UI/UX designers originally have subscriptions to Sketch and thus can work on both platforms for app development.

Overall, proto.io has been a fantastic tool for designing prototypes. It is simple and efficient to use and provides everything you would need to design great prototypes.

The trial is limited to 15days. Also after the project is complete, linking the screens is still a bit of messy and doesn't work as expected in the phone app.

Nothing I like about it - it seemed like a good working tool at first - but not.

Ready made template , useful icon and wonderful design environment made my project really promising.

You can convert your thoughts into an actual experience. It really helps to be able to visualize how the final product would look like and at the same time, interact with the interface.

Proto.io's greatest feature is it's interactive and easy-to-learn interface. It is a great tool to design and especially dynamically change prototypes online without the need of hardware.

The interface is quite difficult for beginners. Forces to use itself: Proto-io is made in such a way that it discourages the user to use any other apps.

One of the best app Prototyping softwares I'vo come across. Cloud based with easy to use interface.

It was in fact recommended by our instructor as well and is a great tool to design prototypes seamlessly and efficiently.

As a web-based tool, it relies on data import from local files. That import feature is buggy and unstable, resulting in messed up imports from time to time.

Compatibility: Proto-io is compatible with software like Sketch, the vector graphics editor.

Good customer service more than compensates for the cons. All these functions may be used on a free trial, but it takes time to get used to.

I like the ability to create mockups before beginning a new development project.

One of the best thing I like about this application is that it is beginner friendly.

This was the first prototyping software I used and I had a fun and educational experience with it.

Best Customer Service, When I tried to develop an app, my screen was lagging a bit. But the customer service helped to get through it.

A bit of a learning curve but great tool to have.

Any designer may need some help before using proto-io features to its fullest. But scrolling features more than compensate the problem.
