Some of the features cost extra money. Poor code requires constant updates and can't able to look back at transactions.

They have poor customer service for an even worse product. Issues regularly and no resolve.

The integration of all of the packages and the easy customization to your needs. I like that you can get as much detail or as little detail as you require on your reports.

It seems like Cougar forgot all the lessons they learned through their DOS and CMS products. The reports are terrible and less informative than those in CMS.

It is a super value when you see all that it can do. Plus it is not just for mom and pop.

This review is for the 4.1.1 version. I am told the new version corrects some of the defects -- but they have miles and miles and miles and miles to go to catch up to their ACT version.

The trainer was awesome and the few times we have needed tech support I have been pleased with their responsiveness.

I like the integration of the modules (ie.e purchase order, to inventory, to accounts payable, to general ledger). This speeds up all data entry.

I had to convert to DENALI due to an OS upgrade. I have never been so disappointed in a Cougar Mountain product.

I use the Denali Payroll and it is very easy to use and the software support people are great.

They have messed up our Customer notes and can not fix so now we really have a mess. When I ask a question, I am told they can not answer that and they don't know why the reports look the way they do.

The Program writers did a great job with the transitioning into Denali. The Software is easy to access, understand and maneuver though.

For the money, the features are excellent and I challenge you to find a better product in the price range. We have been using CMS since 1992.

It's really easy to manage Fixed Assets for the whole lifecycle due to the easy calculation of depreciation while transfer or disposal of Assets.

Some of the pre-set depreciation methods are hard to figure out which one to use. The report generating is slow.

It is very easy to keep track of my fixed asset list which in turn helps a great deal when it's time to pay property taxes.

The system seems to have a hard time thinking and processing the results.

The program is straight forward and easy to use. It is easy to navigate and enter.

No SAAS platform makes it cumbersome as can only be installed on premise.

Integration with Sage 100 seems to work great, but we are not done yet.

The grouping function and Excel export is very useful. I would say 70% of the time, the customer service is really good, better than other tax software companies.

Sage offers easy-to-use/read reports that are easily modified to a users preferences or needs. The software also provides a great solution for housing supporting documentation for each asset.

Sage Fixed Assets is really easy to use. You can build separate books for tax accounting and GAAP accounting purposes, and you can link asset ID’s to third-party physical tracking solutions.

The software allowed our company to do fixed asset accounting in-house instead of by an accounting firm. Saved the company some money.

The customer service - it takes forever to reach someone. When there are updates there is always something wrong with some aspect and you have to wait until the next update is released.

Getting answers to questions about report availability has been difficult. Mistakes were made by the implementer during system setup and some are still not corrected nearly a year later.

It has no query function. When one asset is off, it's very hard for me to find and fix it.

Getting around in Sage Fixed Assets is pretty intuitive.

The software is also not very intuitive and difficult for a 'newbie' to learn.
