Its greatest strength is its flexibility to accept almost any kind of data and form them into displays with each other.

Main business problems for using Tableau are analyzing metrics for daily operations, specifically failure rates and tracking completion.

There are some limitations (eg. email alert layout is extremely limited, you can only drag the date range filter as opposed to selecting dates). Some of our dashboards load very slowly.

There are great visuals right out of the box, and very clever interactions that allow you to drill down.

Great at helping us understand our clients better and using data more effectively.

Overall a high value application, with planty of options and gave me an excellent solution for a costum dashboard.
