My overall experience has been really good. I've always gotten the support I need when I've needed it in a very timely fashion.

We also can have a piece of IT equipment email a ticket into Boss when there is an outage. There are a lot of little integrations like these two examples that extend the usefulness of the application.

The Dell integration for warranty information on assets is awesome. Looking forward to HP integration as well.

All Current system cons (current system on its way out in months though): the need to know SQL; system lags.

You're limited to just the options they give you. Since it's web based they can't really customize anything directly for you because it will impact all of their customers.

Very good features out of the box for the price.

Also, their staff has always been very friendly and helpful, which is very important when considering vendors, in my opinion.

The UI is better than some of the other ticketing systems I've used.

User interface is very friendly and easy to navigate. Able to use single sign-on which is a plus.

We use BossDesk for our helpdesk solution as well as Asset Management as well as  Self help point for our customers. The support staff is exceptional and makes setup and troubleshooting super easy.

The software does exactly what we need. Great ticketing system, combined with very good inventory control tools.

I dig the ticketing search and the ability to run reports off the the inventory, that is very helpful. The Dell API integration for warranty and system info is also very nice.

Over the years BOSS Solutions Suite  has been a great assess to our department for keeping up with user's problems and solutions.

It is fairly difficult to use the wizard to create reports.

Being able to create templates for certain tasks so that it auto-fills the bulk of the information is a great time saver.

Customer service and technical support are top notch. We love the flexibility to interface with Active Directory and MS Access.

I feel confident that this software is going to be an excellent go-to for all our asset management needs, as it now is for our Helpdesk needs.

It is a great value for the price. Also there is not the normal yearly increase you see with other software vendors.

I asked specifically if we need to back up any configurations before we do that and was told no that it should carry over. After the upgrade, none of the syncing configurations carried over.

I love when I join a pc to the domain BOSS grabs that pc and its information like the serial, model, & etc.

Only recently have they added time sheets, routing rules, and triggers. The reporting is poor as well with little options for custom reports.

The Widgets make everything very easy to organize the specific tickets we go through-- We have Helpdesk tickets,Network tickets and Security tickets.

Lack of features, such as not being able to select multiple items in the dropdown. Not being able to customize our own reports, long waits to have reports fixed/updated or created.

Also, it's a great way to access important asset information such as: serial numbers and program installations.

Asset Management is a great tool, knowing all computers & Printers in use on our network. Work order portion connects tickets to individuals as well as the assets.

Missing a few things we had in 3.9. Used to be able to itemize purchases in tickets.

BOSS Solutions has proven an extremely stable and feature rich product. Having used both Kaseya and Labtech as comparisons I have been quite pleased with BOSS.

Support Central's active directory integration gives us real-time data on active workstations and end users in our environment.

I solve computer issues remotely with Boss Desk as well as track the work we're doing in the office via walkups. With the use that we need I feel it does an excellent job at fulfilling it.

UI is pretty simple and good as well. While taking backup is a little bit tough but overall it's a very good product for code management.

Little tough to integrate from command prompt on windows or mac. I can't find any other defects or bugs in this software.

From the get go, GitLab has been amazing to work with. It was a breeze to integrate their API, too.

I do have some complaints about it. I hope that newer versions will make my complaints obsolete.

GitHub is a tool that helps you in your day to day and allows you to quickly advance in your work, it is very complete and you can find within it all kinds of things that can help you.

I would say that it is not easy to upgrade or migrate to a new server. If any function fails, the rest usually fail.

It is best secure platform to make my code go there, and it is also best in pushing and pulling my code.

The best part of it is that ,it's cost friendly nature which helps not only big but also small organisations.

It's superb we can recommend for anyone. If our commit has some conflict it shows how to resolve that step by step.

It is available in both community version and Enterprise version. Version control and code review made easy with gitlab.

Some of the directions from the developers are very vague. They forget that not everyone using the platform isn't a technician genius.

My only and “first” code versioning program ever. I really recommend it over any other solution out there, the features  are top and the repositories and GUI just look so professional and awesome.

Easy to use with a modern interface. Gitlab enterprise is a nice self hosted option with good project control.

There are also a good number of settings that allow you to control options such as how you want to handle merge commits, giving you complete control over your repository.

Good repository policies, paired with good storage capacity, and speed. Great product to manage large repos.

Great for tracking issues. I love how I can keep up with the projects that I am on and to see the progress of others.

Merge conflict solver is very confusing. I think GitLab team should come up with different design to solve the conflicts.

I imported around 30 repositories in a few steps so simple and easy. I really love it, I'd been use Github and Bitbucket in the past, and GitLab is much better.

Gitlab is a great repo manager for teams in need of private repositories, continuous development, and affordable prices.

The best versioning tool for development, I recommend it without hesitation.

They also have very good slack integration in the gitlab itself which will help the devs to communicate on the platform itself.

Good for organizations where you want to keep for repositories private. It has good features in cheap price.

There are some features missing or not implemented properly in Gitlab + the lack of funding makes it ver hard to expand on Gitlab and use it full time.

Don't forget the issue tracking it's really fun to use and support markdown making it much more awesome. The community edition is really amazing with community support is marvelous.
