The ease of use, value for the price, and customer support were extremely important when choosing a management system.

Reftab is fast, responsive and for the price, has a huge amount of value added features.

The range of labels supported is a little disappointing but they are adding additional labels going forward.

It is quite embarrassing having to wait at the counter in a room full of people expecting their equipment loans or returns all watching a circle going round and round for minutes at a time.

A steep learning curve, once hurdled unlocks a powerful and impressive assert management tool. Customer support fixes bugs and are always receptive of new ideas and feature requests.

Suits the use within our environment as well as having a suitable App. The scope of the system and it's ability to be customised is also appealing.

It's great on day to day basis. We are utilising every aspect of it, it helps with all department bookings and needs.

There is very little I dislike about Smarthub. It can take some time to learn the ins and outs of it but once you're up and running, it becomes second nature.

The support we have from the Smarthub team is always excellent - answering questions, providing solutions and best practice, and listening to ideas.

Not all of this is the fault of the software, but it's specific suitability for how we work isn't quite right. Occasionally communications have dropped after an initial response.

The amount of options often are often overwhelming and difficult to interpret.

It was recommended to me by other people already using it and I see the potential, if set up correctly. I like the good customer care and prompt replies I got so far for any little question.

Some of the administration is often difficult to figure out, and is clunky in places.

While we have had our challenges, the team behind SISO are amazing. They are quick to respond to queries and are always happy to hop onto a call to talk through an issue.

Good, would highly recommend and I think very good when dealing with HE.

Speed of the system, it's very slow and our students are raising the issues constantly. Report function is very weak.

Smarthub is a fantastic piece of software which easily meets the demands of a fast and busy media store.

The ease of the system for tracking assets and associated loans.

Some students find it hard to navigate the booking system, but I believe this is mostly down to using 1 to 1s as assets, with block booking, which seems to confuse them a bit.

We have also never had an serious issues or outages.

It has saved a lot of time, especially given the increased number of bookable assets that we now manage on a daily basis.

The UI need a lot of work, some times is very confusing to navigate through the pages and taps.

Without smart hub there would be a process that required admin burden.
