Great platform to bring people together

When we started using Rungway and employees understood its value, it turned out to be a great tool for having better, easier, faster communication with everyone in the organization.

PROS

We are transitioning, and Rungway has become one of the best ways to cope with change and bring people together, especially with leaders: They are now more accessible to all employees, facilitating communication, transparency, and psychological safety.

CONS

Sometimes UX is not as intuitive as it should. We are so accustomed to social media that we want to use Rungway as if it were Facebook or Instagram, which of course is not, but navigation is sometimes a bit complicated.

Does everyone feel safe to speak up?

The team are incredibly engaging and knowledgeable about how the data can help understand what's going on in your business, and why certain sectors might compare or differ. It's useful to benchmark how we we're doing but also internally to see where pockets of the business differ in understanding or culture. A wealth of information that they are incredibly good at pulling insight from with you as a client.

PROS

I most like the clear focus on data that's useful to understand how different demographics feel. Especially those demographics that feel more compelled to anonymise and potentially therefore, feel less psychological safety. This help build an understanding on where we need to work to improve.

CONS

I can't think of any right now to be honest.

A great platform to support employee engagement

The platform supports employee communications by giving insight into what topics are on employees minds and what concerns they have. This allows the team to tailor communications to support these needs and provide additional support to topics that need additional explanations.

PROS

It provides a safe environment for employees to ask questions and raise concerns. I also allows for timely discussions from all employees within the business.The moderation tool supports sensitive discussions to be held until the business specialist has the correct information/answer to share.

CONS

I wasn't part of the initial implementation team however I am now responsible for monitoring the discussions. It would be good if some generalist questions can be sent back to the user with an initial response/contact appose to going live on the wall. e.g asking for air con to be turned down.

Giving employees a direct voice

Rungway has been great at enabling a broader section of employees to voice concerns directly or ask questions without fear of embarrassment or fear of being singled out. It's been great for that and well supported by Rungway. It does take time though. You can can get multiple queries / comments a week and providing considered responses does take up resource.

PROS

It's easy to use and it's well moderated and controlled. We can filter questions and comments and respond privately. It allows for flexible responses according to nature of the comment. It also means a wider range of employees have a direct voive and can ask questions or make points without fear of being singled out.

CONS

It would be good if questions could be more easily categorised. To be fair we probably can we we don't at present. Sometimes the ability to post anonymously means we get aggressive and personal emails, but we can respond privately to ask they re-phrase before it's posted publicly.

Excellent tool for engagement and recognition - its fast become fundamental to our approach

Overall experience has been massively positive

PROS

The ease of use and ability to use in real time, along with the ability to reach large numbers of people quickly. The anon feature gives those a voice who may not otherwise speak up or use such a tool, and it gives us a real "warts and all" view of what people are thinking. The data analytics are excellent and the support from the entire Rungway team is exceptional.

CONS

There isn't anything specific I would want to be done differently - the system gives us exactly what we need.

Anonymous feature encourages employee engagement. Excellent customer support from Rungway team.

CONS

I find the approval system (after moderation, to the feed) could be improved (I know plans are in place)

Excellent survey system

Rungway is an excellent platform for us to regularly get feedback from our staff body on a whole range of issues, from the important to the more mundane. It is easy to use and we have high engagement scores with the survey functionality across our staff body.

PROS

The customer service we get from Rungway is excellent, and over time they have helped us to launch a number of personalised full staff surveys and given us some incredibly insightful analytics. We regularly use the product to launch short pulse surveys, and from an internal communications perspective it is useful to have a platform for people to anonymously talk with us.

CONS

We don't use all of the core functionality (our teams prefer to be open in their communications rather than anonymous!) It is also hard for us to get a read on how our data compares with comparator organisations.

Rungway encourages open two-way dialogue

The platform has had a tremendous impact on our ability to encourage open, two-way dialogue with leaders & peers across our network of agencies and groups.

PROS

CONS

Looking forward to future enhancements such as hard hyperlinks, the ability to "tag" an individual in a post that they receive a notification they've been tagged. Would also like to see more graphics integrated into the platform such as emojis, memes, pics, etc.

Great, intuitive product that has made engagement more accessible to all

PROS

The user experience of the portal is excellent, from a very easy log in, to a seamless survey entry. We have received great feedback on how easy the survey was to complete, which i think certainly contributed to us recording our highest response rate to date.Having full access to personalised results has been game changing for us as an organisation. Being able to empower so many leaders with such rich data and meaningful insights has made the action and improvement planning so much easier. I have no doubt this will enable us to reach higher levels of engagement in our future surveys.

CONS

None that come to mind at the moment, overall we have found Rungway’s product to suit our business needs more than our previous provider.

Employee Engagement tool

PROS

The team at Rungway have partnered with us to implement their employee engagement tool seamlessly into our organisation, dealing with our last minute requests and changes with true professionalism. The insights gained from our employee survey have been invaluable to us.

CONS

Excellent platform for measuring colleague engagement

Excellent. Would highly recommend

PROS

Easy to use survey- clear and simple for people to follow and was well received by our colleagues. We saw an increase in participation rates this year in survey take up. We haven't yet used the always on function but we have been shown several demos and again looks clear and simple and help us to more regularly pulse our people so that we can unearth problems quicker and find solutions. Rungway team are fabulous! So helpful and accommodating and provided an excellent report on our survey findings.

CONS

That there isn't anywhere for our colleagues to host their action/ improvement plans from the survey on the platform
