Effective 360 Personal Development Tool for any large company
The Talent 360 Platform is an excellent product to allow staff to measure and reflect on their strengths and weaknesses and allows them to easily formulate positive developement plans where necessary
PROSThe software is easy to use for both administrators and the end user. Upgrades means that data is saved immediately and not lost if there is an interruptional in usage. The report which gathers the reviewer data is extremely comprehensive and participants are always impressed with the amount of quality information presented to use in a follow up coaching session or development input with their line manager. The report can be configured to appeal to different learners needs / learning style.
CONSI have no complaints about any aspect of the software.

Reasons for switching to Talent 360
We did use Talent 360 from 2011 but then with budget restrictions we had to look at cheaper options. We also have to use the College of Policing software as part of the National Talent Management process so it meade sense to use their product which ultimately did not meet our needds as an employer.

excellent, the support has been amazing, we had to wait a long time for a project to get going due to covid but they are slowly coming our way now
PROSI'm still a new user but so far I have found it intuitive but I have had a lot of help and support from [SENSITIVE CONTENT]. There is a lot more to this platform than others I have used previously but it will all become familiar I'm sure
CONSIt would be good to hide all the custom texts that we don't use, I found this the most annoying but only minor

Great potential, though not UX needs improving
It did what we needed for a couple of years, but it is time to find something new
PROS360 feedback is straightforward for reviewers
CONSI find it can be hard to navigate the product which is a result of poor UX. The buttons are not obvious which means that the majority have to be pressed before you get to the page you need. The software generates excellent data though I prefer to export and interrogate the data outside of the software due to it's lack of reporting flexibility

Talent360 - the best on the market?
A good experience from an Administrator perspective, with candidates also expressing positive experiences.
PROSTalent360 is easy to set-up and offers several unique features. The system assigns a Quality Score to each feedback submission, which reassures the credibility of the feedback. Reports can be short or long configurations, depending on what analytics you choose to include. And including an adapted version of the Johari Window, the PAPU-NANU feature semi-automates the interpretation process, saving valuable time, as well as providing a structure for both giving feedback and action planning.
CONSWhilst the set-up process is relatively easy, a built-in wizard feature would improve this further. A competency library would be useful, to enable quick selection of behaviours or to enable these to be adapted.
Reason for choosing Talent 360
Many alternative products appear very similar in their approach and format, yet Talent360 stood out through several unique features. Having used numerous 360 tools in the past, I have not seen any that are better designed.

The whole Headlight experience has always been positive
PROSEasy to use, easily adapted to meet our needs
CONSNot suitable as a year round solution due to cost, however we overcame this through having a '360 window' for a set amount of users which suited our needs

A positive one, and has been useful in providing feedback as that is an area of development for us!
PROSThe report is very impactful, the system is also easy to use. I had access to review reports before generating which was also helpful.
CONSIt might have just been me but when using the Analytics dashboard it wasn't very clear with the dial in terms of how many people you needed to select in order to run a report - I kept selecting the number of people that had completed the survey and no results were generated, but after speaking to the helpdesk I knew I just had to select a minimum number.

360 feedback review
The manage feedback page for tracking progress is nice and clear. It is easy to add, remove or amend reviewers as well as sending chasers. Creating new questionnaires is nicely formatted and easy to use. The support team are always quick to respond and are helpful with any queries I have.
CONSThe layout and navigation of the admin areas are not very intuitive and things are not where you would logically expect them to be - e.g. Lookups section (title isn't self explanatory) to update some text such as personal report introduction and then go to Custom Text to update another report introduction (confusing). You go to Organisation to update images as well as to manage administrators etc.

We are extremely happy with the Software and the whole process of the Talent 360 platform provided by Headlight and the service we have had from our rep has been brilliant and based on building really strong client relationships. The new and improved report graphics are very good with sleeker design and graphics which enhances the look and feel of the document. A couple of things we have found a little frustrating, many of our employees wanted to use external reviewers who use Hotmail did not receive the invites which meant quite a lot of chasing with the reviewers and participants on our part. Despite the graphics improvements we generally find the older format dashboard easier to use.

Thanks for the great feedback! Yes Hotmail can block e-mails suspecting them to be spam, but generally the e-mails get through to external reviewers anywhere in the world.

Highly recommend
We have been using Headlight for a number of years now and find the software very easy to use. The reports are very in-depth and comprehensive, and the support is second to none in terms of speed of replies and queries being dealt with. We would highly recommend Headlight.
PROSSupport is excellent. Reports are very comprehensive. Software is user-friendly and responsive.

Assessing leaders across 27 countries in 7 different languages.
PROSThe reports are very informative. Raters contribute anonymously. The platform and reports are available in multiple languages. The team is quite knowledgeable and very supportive. We are able to assess on our own competency framework vs generic leadership competencies.
CONSThere is quite a bit of work necessary to do the initial setup of the system. The reports are quite robust. Because of their complexity, it does take extra effort to get used to them.

A flexible system that meets a range of needs
Overall, the Headlight 360 system we use is very flexible and highly configurable. By focusing on the quality of the platform and the flexibility of the report, Headlight do the stuff that is needed to allow an L&D team to use the platform in the way we want. The levels of configuration do make the system a little complex and the current switch between the old interface and the new one is adding to that. However, the new interface is MUCH better.

The support from the Head Light team has been fantastic - very reactive to our requests - very good at explaining options available to us.
PROSThe ability to bespoke the questions to suit our own behaviour framework.
CONSSome users struggled with screen fit, but this may have been down to their internet browser?
