  • Pros

  • I love that you can set the privacy settings, as well record whether someone is under 18 or deceased, etc. I love that this system automatically assigns constituents to their local chapters.
  • The user interface is very friendly and intuitive. There are a ton of ways to find the information you need and built in tools to make your research more effective.
  • Cons

  • Some of the set up of a report is difficult. You have to have a domain set up in order to select the correct fields.
  • Each company has its own set of business rules. Sometime that can be confusing to know that everyone is following the same rules.

  • The product is very easy to use and helps the team stay organized with everything as things can become very disorganized, easily.
  • You can create any kind of automation or workflow that you can dream up. This can save you an incredible amount of time in the long run.
  • Cons

  • Costs are always a concern for small nonprofits, and that's probably the only part of Salesforce that we struggled with.
  • Because it's a large company it can be difficult to get through the proper channels to get changes we've needed.
