I like that it can be easily integrated into Microsoft word and chrome. Ginger has many helpful features, like paraphrasing and read back, which is very appreciated by non-native English speakers.

Sometimes Ginger experiences errors and problems when I use it on some software. This add-on is also not yet available in some browsers.

I find it very annoying not to work with Google Docs. Also, the chrome extension does not work properly.

Very bad experience once I am encountering a problem with the software. This is because there is no real person to help as customer support.

I don't know what the reason is, but sometimes the mistakes do not appear even after pasting the text on Ginger. Also, I feel that it's premium version is a bit expensive.

I also found that too many suggestions didn't make sense, and after consulting with my editor, she agreed I had it correct and Ginger was wrong.

The updates consistently either slow down the software or freezes it the last one several days ago. Says internet server error or document is corrupted, which either isn't true.

However, even though those additions have been more than welcome, what I consider the platform's top feature is something that has been at its core for quite some time: Descript's transcription tool.

There have been two occasions in last few months where Descript just stopped working. I lost days' worth of work on broadcast critical projects.

My overall experience with Descript has been wonderful. I wouldn't recommend it to my new podcasting clients if it wasn't a solid product with good customer support.

The product has so many features and i am learning new features everyday. Love that i can eliminate 4-5 pieces of software.

Perhaps stupidly, i carried on using Descript. A month or so later a Composition (their name for a document within a project) I was working on just stopped working.

The integrated transcription function is really useful and the Overdub feature is very cool for being able to make edits without re-recording and splicing in audio.

I wish they had an affiliate program because I would be making some money. Lol My only issue is with the screen recording but understand this is a new feature and they are still working out the bugs.

Overall, I'm thrilled with what Descript has brought to my show. I'm even more excited to post new episodes now because I know each week the listeners are getting a better and better show.

It is very inexpensive compared to other tools or hiring freelancers. Descript enables me to make more high-quality content, and repurpose existing content into other formats.

I have found Descript easy to use, fantastic that I can see the transcript and manipulate it to get the recording that I need. The drag and drop of video and music is so easy and brilliant.

It can be a bit confusing with a steep learning curve initially. It took some time to get set up and used to.

I love it and recommended it to many who are using it successfully. One the one hand it’s quicker to edit but takes longer because I can create more assets.

That there is no way to edit two separate tracks in one audio. I.e. two people speaking with their own audios).

The ability to organise, collaborate and publish an audio project in the cloud with a friendly interface is great and used to be a huge pain to figure out.

The Sequence feature is still a mystery to me. I'm not sure why there is a composition and a sequence option, but I do see the difference. I think it would make more sense to have them combined.
