We have abandoned the reminders that are printed by the software and instead use the data to create our own digital reminders.

I appreciate the many reports available within HVMS and regularly use the production reports to track revenue by doctor and compare month to month.

Very good and most powerful veterinary software ever.

Reasonably good inventory control. Reliable tablet version with easy synchronization.

It is very prone to bugs and errors and cannot do a number of simple things that I think it should be able to do.

The worst part of the software is the support and customer service.

We strongly recommend it to any other our fellow practitioners. This software is fantastic for a sole or multi-practitioner practice...or practices that have multiple locations.

Ease of use, lots of features, ability to customize. Tech support team is always quick and helpful.

We experience slowness, frequent errors and issues with some reports.

The computer has a LOT of glitches and randomly will close on you or send an error message, several times a day. It is also not cloud based and syncing can be a pain since we are ambulatory.

We have had other equine veterinary software and this by far is the best software investment.

HVMS IT is quick to blame our onsite hardware, which is rarely the cause of the problem. The reminder system leaves a lot to be desired.

I like The Ease of creating invoices and collecting payments. Emailing receipts, statements and worksheets works well and is good for customers.

What a waste of time for sooo many employees (we have about 70 employees, large practice) and the sudden loss of the treatment plan is really hard on our employees doing treatments.

Ease of accessing patient info (images, etc.). Comprehensive nature of having patient/client info in one accessible place.

Overall, HVMS seems like a pretty good program even though it does have some glitches.

HVMS has worked for our all equine clinic for the past few years. The pros are that is is tailored to equine for us and the ease of use is pretty good.

The navigation between different areas of info are very helpful, there are many ways to get to the information you are looking for. I appreciate the many filter options that help refine searches.

That is a frustrating loss of all the screens you had open, you better remember all of the different things you had going on.

The worksheets are nice and being able to take the tablet version with to the field is nice. The hospital template is very helpful.

I really like the ease of use, many options for record keeping, and the continuous upgrades to make things better.

It can do some real complex reports. Customer support has been helpful.

I am not able to answer the Value for Money  as I do o know about costs for system. ).

Several errors, loosing records, inconsistent data, no confidence in storage, major flaws in records/ production, and code management.

No payroll component activated for Australia. Would be complete package if this was provided.

The Service we receive from Vision is exceptional. While there can occasionally be a wait on the support line, the staff are worth the time.

All our staff have been fantastic with the transition and are so pleased with the many features which make the day to day jobs more efficient, yet simple.

Cons: Lack of spell check, report designer, marketing, current balance on general client search. If Brad's away we struggle to get help.

Diary integrated with the appointment book (.net) would be good. I think the overall appearance of the visions screens, tabs etc.

Ability to add stock message on invoice makes it easy for clients to understand what each item is for. Excellent customer service and support.

The Vision support Team are always friendly, helpful and FAST. Nothing is too much trouble.

We have been fortunate enough to participate in some beta testing of new modules, and find the VISION response to problems to be very rapid. I would definitely recommend this product.

Software perse this is your typical PIMS system with more or less the same features like any other.

We are normally only calling when we have major IT/programme concerns & too not have direct access to fix straight away can be a little frustrating.

We have been using the program for over 6 years and have found it to be very user friendly.

This has improved lately with the addition of shortcut toolbars. Email system inbuilt is a bit cumbersome to use and needs updating.

Still fully functional, just a little tired looking.

Customer service team super helpful and knowledgeable. Very diverse software, that is user friendly.

Reporting is a little clunky, but most popularly required reports are available (this is an issue for much accounting software, btw).

Only the odd time when they've been unavailable due to not enough support staff on the day.

The feeling in  the hospital was borderline panic. Everyone was so nervous.

Whilst we don't fully utilise this, it is extremely powerful. Most integrated if you're a Provet customer, but still quite good for other suppliers.

Their dedication to helping us ensure our business has all of the system support it needs is fantastic. They're also really lovely.

Vision has myriad useful features to make managing our day simpler. It's customisable, has automation features to take some of the load off, and is clever.

Overall I am happy with Vision and it has help our business to grow.

The Controlled drug report is extremely useful - allowing precise reconciliation with the drug register. Integration with Vetscan machines for recording pathology has been a great help.

All in all very satisfied with the product. Matches functionality of main competitor with more modest hardware requirements.

I would be very weary of any Shein software from this point on in the future.

Im still learning all the things Vision can do.

The Team has been responsive to change requests and the customer service has been outstanding. When we had a server disaster I had round the clock help from Vision until we were back up and running.

I have used Vision VPM since 2006, having previously used other veterinary software including RxWorks. The VISION product is intuitive and easy to use, and is continually being updated and improved.

They're quick with solutions and suggestions, are keen to teach how to rectify issues ourselves, and are able to quickly help with anything we can't fix here.

Overall it's great software and mostly hassle-free to use. Their automation services have been great and saved us a lot of time.

All the groundwork is done behind the scenes with no disruption to the hospital. Tracy then came in to train all the staff for 3 days.
