Clear Estimates allows contractors to create estimates, produce bid requests, draft proposals, manage customers, and more. It integrates with QuickBooks and allows you to export project estimates and customer information into the system. It also relies on the well-known RemodelMAX database for material and labor cost information. This allows you to get up-to-date pricing from over 400 regions in the country.

While originally intended for remodelers, the system can be customized to meet the unique needs of most trades, so long as they are working on residential projects. This includes custom and production homebuilders, design/build firms, finishing contractors, roofing and siding contractors, and other specialty contractors. It is designed for smaller companies that generate less than $5 million in revenue annually.

Clear Estimates offers a unique pricing model. Even though the software is deployed on-premise (i.e. installed on your computer), you pay month-to-month instead of a large upfront sum. Additionally, there is no minimum contract. This is an appealing option for small, independent contractors.
