QuoteExpress Piping & SheetMetal Software

Operating out of Eugene, Oregon, Quote Software was developed by estimators for estimators. The product draws its heritage from a small family-owned shop and has grown their customer base to over to include over 1200. Quote Software specializes in construction estimating and takeoff systems with a primary focus on the plumbing, mechanical, and HVAC industries.

Quote Software currently offers two separate packages, QuoteExpress Sheet Metal and QuoteExpress Piping. A highlight in each of the package offerings is the extensive labor database that is built-in to the software. QuoteExpress Sheet Metal has a decade of first-hand labor knowledge built into the database while QuoteExpress Piping relies on MCCA/PHCC labor information. However, both databases can be customized to fit your business requirements.

The QuoteExpress line comes with standard construction takeoff and estimating applications. The takeoff application includes modules such as digitizer integration, automatic scaling, CAD file integration, and 3D takeoff. Meanwhile, the estimating application has modules for Excel integration, visual assemblies, and conceptual estimates. These applications can work for companies with up $1 billion in revenues.

Quote Software has started offering functionality to their software in mobile applications to allow for mobile device takeoffs. Quote Software currently offers their QuoteExpress Sheet Metal takeoff application on the iPod, iPhone and iPad. The company plans to add similar functionality for QuoteExpress Piping in June of 2011.   

Quote Software is also a Microsoft Certified Partner and is licensed to sell AutoDesk software.
