Pros

For a small startup, everything you could need for marketing and sales is included. It's helped to have everything integrated.

Cons

Setting up some of the forms and landing pages isn't intuitive, but Hubspot includes a lot of helpful documentation to guide you.

Value for Money

If you have a team for internet marketing and are looking for a comprehensive platform, Hubspot is a great solution. If you just beginning or intermediate level of marketing and a small company, it's not the best ROI till you are ready for it.

Pros

It can do just about everything you or your team need to accomplish. It has great flexibility and covers most areas of a complete marketing department. The support is great and willingly given. Good automation.

Cons

Requires an extensive training ramp. It is almost like high-level programming to use the flexibility. Its capability is not for the small marketing department.

Beware of the hard sell. They use lock in contracts to keep you paying even when the system is clearly not working for you.

Ease-of-use

Customer Support

Value for Money

Hubspot is way over priced and the complexity of the system makes it hard to fully understand what you are buying into until you are bound by a lock-in contract. My advice is to thoroughly do your research as there are much much better and more economical solutions out there. Do not believe the hype from the sales team.

Pros

The CRM is free, but the rest of the system is overpriced and a waste of money. The tool is much more of a marketing course than it is a useful tool and you can get this information easily online without paying every year. Do not believe the hype!
The marketing course info is also very shallow and way to sales-y for most businesses.

Cons

The system has lock in contracts that are there to force you into paying and selling to the system to your customers and for me, I liked my customers' way too much to force them into lock in contracts. Lock in contracts are only used when companies struggle to demonstrate value over the long term.
The system did not work for us as it was way to salse-y for our clients base and despite numerous attempts to communicate with Hubspot about this they just shut it down.

You only buying the product, Support and training is the additional cost, also it is a commitment and even if you can't use the product if you don't have time to learn it and implement which is a full-time job, no refund.
I wasn't aware of the time and I need to spend to learn the product and training cost till I signed up and after that I was told there is nothing that they can do, that I will have to make time to learn the in and out of the product and implement it by try and error.

Pros

None

Cons

You will need to spend way more time to learn the ins and out of the product.
You will need to spend more money for training
No guarantee on ROI
You can't get out of the contract weather you continue using the product or not.

Buyer Remorse. Not upfront or transparent pricing - charge extra fees for necessary functionality

Ease-of-use

Functionality

Product Quality

Customer Support

Value for Money

It's my second implementation of Hubspot and the company has changed. Asked to pay an additional per month to achieve basic functionality only after we signed the contract. Not notified of fees prior to signing contract.

Hubspot did review our SSL enabled website before we came onboard but did not disclose we would need this necessary add-on. Without the “add-on” we cannot gather inbound marketing analytics, the page performance and source tools will not reflect what marketing efforts are resulting in the most traffic – leads or sales. This is the primary purpose of inbound marketing, the sales funnel and the software. Where does it say in your sales information that these tools will not work if you have SSL enabled on your website?.

Currently, there is no performance analytics on our account so we can’t gauge what is working. We are being forced to pay additional fees to get the software working as advertised.

Pros

As it currently stands we can't access any performance analytics because we can't afford the additional fees. Looking into other solutions. Disappointed we need to move our business after time consuming setup.

Cons

Not transparent pricing. Only after you've signed notified of more fees.

Advice to Others

Buyer beware - many other options available at a much lower cost. Same tools.

I Couldn't rate the customer support as I haven't needed to contact anyone yet. I guess that is a good thing. I do like to helpful online video guides that move you through every process. I am familiar with many other CRM's, and now Hubspot. It almost seems too good to be true. This CRM is perfect for the guy that isn't a tech head. If you are wanting to have a CRM that is ready to use (rather than having to create every facet of your program), then this is the CRM for you. Honestly? I have only used the free side of things so far. My guess is that the other leg will drop soon, and I will have to pay for such a wonderful program. It might be an easy pill to swallow, considering how much time I have missed in sales to put together all of the pieces in other CRMs. I give these guys a 4-star rating until I see the price tag or have to use customer support. Thank you, HubSpot.

Pros

User Friendly!

Cons

The only thing that I would like to see is this:

Once a task is created, It would be helpful if it hovered a little higher or was highlighted slightly to separate it from the rest of the notes at a glance. It would speed up the process of sifting through dialogue to get to the task at hand

Advice to Others

Check out the free side of Hubspot. I was pleasantly surprised. I'm hesitant to bring this to my boss' attention.

I used a trial version of Hubspot at the encouragement of a co-worker. It's a pretty amazing tool. Hubspot seems to be one the leading companies in this market. It really pulls together a ton of date and organizes it into a package. It's really a must-have for promoting your website and helps you convert traffic into revenue.

Pros

Tons of useful information to help you turn your web traffic into business.

Cons

It's great to have all the data, but if you don't know what to do with it once you have it, you might not need this software.

Advice to Others

Don't spend $1,000s on CRMs that crank out unuseful data. Get Hubspot

Pros

Very user-centric. It's a full solution, integrate your sales funnel and marketing campaigns as well as your website. All the stats can be connected there. If you have trouble call your support engineers. I believe they're on 24 hrs.

Pros

The platform is easy to use Hubspot have a beautifully designed product. Given the complexity of marketing automation software, they have done a great job of making it intuitive for small business owners with little or no coding ability.
7-day free trial Most marketing automation tools do a pretty bad job of mitigating the customer's up-front risk (high setup fees, no free trials, and long contracts). While Hubspot does require high setup fees and a contract, they are one of the only tools to offer a free trial.
Educating their users Perhaps the most impressive aspect of Hubspot is the extent to which they invest in educating their customers. Their blog provides an exceptional place for business owners to learn about online marketing.
A place for all your tools Hubspot is convenient in that it has everything in one place. While you could get 99% of Hubspot's functionality for free (or cheap) elsewhere, it's handy having it all in one place.

Cons

quires a 12-month contract Hubspot contracts are billed annually by default. Ultimately, marketing automation is something that you are likely to use for many years, so this is not too big an issue. However, it would be preferable to have a rolling month-on-month contract.
No A/B testing in their basic or PRO package If you want to run split tests, you are going to have to upgrade to their package. Given that A/B testing is one of their quickest and most effective ways to improve the performance of online campaigns, it seems odd that they wouldn't offer this at lower levels to help small businesses generate better results (and additional revenue).
Very steep price creep.
Most tools offered by Hubspot are free elsewhere Hubspot offers a well-designed set of tools, but there aren't any silver bullets in there that couldn't be found elsewhere for free or cheap.
Technical support is paid Implementing Hubspot is fairly straight-forward, but if you do require ongoing technical support, you will have to pay for it.

I mean, it's a killer marketing automation platform. You will see a rise in email traffic, but Hubspot also focuses on an overall rise in traffic to your website. It's more than just a marketing automation platform, really. It's a total inbound marketing solution.

Pros

-BEST workflow/drip program builder UI in the industry
-Easy to using reporting

Overall, out of the top 3 marketing automation solutions on the marketing (Pardot, and Marketo - I have used both), this is the best. It's intuitive and inventive. It will help you perform your day-to-day better, but it will also help you do completely new things.

Cons

-It's social scheduling tool is actually really good, but it's not the best I've used, so there's that.
-The CTA builder is .... clunky at best. In order to run CTAs on your website you better have a graphic designer who can make something pretty. You're also forced to use this builder to create any CTA buttons in emails, which means that you can't change the text on a button within an email itself.

This is not my favorite product because I feel that it has limited my ability to have many choices for my patients to connect with us.

Emailing tracking

Pros

How easy it is to turn on and off and then how easy it is to review when it was opened and how many times.

Cons

Sometimes HubSpot will turn itself on while I'm emailing a client and I have to manually turn it off.

I would use HubSpot for their blog content alone--their expertise is bar none.

Organization, automation, quick and easy use, time saving

Pros

Excellent customer service, easily navigated, acts as my personal assistant (waiting for the ability to order me coffee and schedule gifts for my loved ones but it's cool I can be patient), the sales dashboard and analytics keep me on track and I couldn't do my job without them! (Seriously we wrote a whole blog post on how we couldn't do our jobs with them...)

Cons

There are so many features I know I'm not taking advantage of--to fully use HubSpot to its extent it takes continued education and time which aren't inherently bad things but is something to be aware of.

Pros

If you are a small company or a start up then you must try out this amazing tool. It gives you great insights and lets you reach the targeted audience with so much less work.

Cons

There is learning curve associated with this. That's why I recommend this tool for small companies since for large companies it might be tough to train large number of employees.
