LiquidPlanner is a cloud-based project management platform. This comprehensive solution includes integrated applications for project portfolio management, document management, project collaboration, resource management, time tracking, budgeting and more.
LiquidPlanner's scheduling engine generates priority-based schedules, taking into account the priority and estimated time assigned to each task. As users log time or re-estimate their time, LiquidPlanner shows the most up-to-date schedules. Best and worst case estimates give a realistic look at what can be accomplished and when, while comprehensive planning at the team and portfolio-level helps administrators manage resources.
Since this system is cloud-based, users can collaborate and interact with their projects, tasks and teams, from virtually anywhere. Native apps for iOS and Android devices allows users to access many of the features available in the system, so they can view projects, assign tasks, update progress, collaborate with team members and more.
LiquidPlanner is best suited for companies with more than 50 employees in several industries, including marketing, IT, software, web design and management consulting.

I like that it keeps all my projects together in one spot. I like that I can assign and delegate task right from it.
I don't like that sometimes I miss deadlines because I did not receive a notification for a task. Sometimes I forget to include people by putting the @ sign.
I would just play around with the product. See what features work best for you.

Flexibility of the Customization, UI, and Customer Support
I wish there was the ability to do Required Fields and had a better "notification" Feed/Center. Also wish there was better way to do "mapping" with custom field entries (when you delete one, it's gone, you can't map it easily to another one w/o filtering and doing them manually.)
Easy to roll-out simply and then gradually add complexity.

There is very quick customer support and frequent webinars to explain new products. It's easy to learn and has almost all of the functionality we have needed.
It's expensive for a team of our size (<10 people). Analytics could be a little more user-friendly, especially creating reports to base your billings on.
Talk to LP and watch their videos before you decide. There is also usually a free trial.

LiquidPlanner provides robust software that you can easily utilize to help your organization scale. As you grow, it grows with you and can be easily customized. It is well organized, and they provide great self guided tools, tutorials, and means to jump right in with the software.
The only down side I can think of is it seems to be getting more complex with each release. Hope that they don't lose the core simplicity and clean interface over time
I would say to do a lot of searching and also have a clear idea going in to the process of what precisely you are trying to achieve- at the end of the day, software is a tool that assists. You have to be clear on your organization's workflow, goals and what pain points you are trying to solve for ultimately.

Excellent project management software backed with qualified/helpful staff!
Would like the ability to schedule daily work limits to smaller increments. Current lower limit of work a person can do a day per task is 30 minutes. Would like this to go as low as 15 minutes.
There is a lot of competition in cloud-based project management software with a large spectrum of services and capabilities. Ensure you know your operational requirements very well so you do not buy a more expensive service than you truly require.
