This suite includes applications for point of sale, financials, business intelligence, CRM, warehouse management, loss prevention, merchandise planning, assortment planning, product lifecycle management, and cross-channel order management. The system also offers real-time updating of sales and inventory figures. All features are backed by Aptos professional services that service users in North America, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. Aptos is also able to integrate with mobile and web stores via its mobile and e-commerce platforms.

Aptos is offered as on-premise or SaaS applications that are able to integrate with most third-party software applications. Aptos' SaaS option enables the software to be automatically updated and managed with less IT investment than other systems. Aptos provides software, hardware terminals, and technical support for its retail management software.

Their service has been improving but still requires some work. As a Saas customer, they do take care of our stores when it comes with support.

I paid someone to import my database into Aptos. Totally unusable.

The interface to finacials with auto replication. It's up to date with legislation.

Likes Least

The help desk is front end only. The expectation of self-installation is unreasonable.

Recommendations

Be aware that self install and train the trainer are expectations of Epicor. This places a load on future upgrades.

The user interface is not ideal and is sometimes buggy. There are problems that take long to be resolved.
