Genesis Advantage is a Windows-based, on-premise furniture retail system containing point-of-sale (POS), inventory management, and accounting functionality that is designed to meet the needs of small to medium-sized retailers.
Within Genesis Advantage, users are able to access a number of features built specifically to help retailers profit from selling furniture and appliances. The program is modular and anchored by an inventory management system that includes a POS, delivery scheduling, and barcode printing and scanning. In addition, the program provides the ability to manage stock levels and reordering, along with tracking special orders. Commissions are automatically tracked with sales invoices and users can print price tags directly from the main application. All accounting functions, including general ledger, AP, and payroll, are available as modules or a complete suite. Along with "Open to Buy" forecasting and the Manager's Dashboard, retailers can use Genesis Advantage to reduce overstock and maximize profit.
