Customer support was extremely responsive and, once they identified the issue, they even pushed a new version with a patch specifically to address our issue.

Over the years I have had some problems which required tech support. I have to say that they have always been able to help me get back on-track.

On multiple occasion there were hard drive failures and I was able to get a new hard drive up and running and restore all data in a short amount of time.

I've tried with 2 major initiatives, both failing miserably. Copy from file server to NAS device was so slow, the job never finished.

Received excellent response actually answering my question fully on Sunday morning.

The unattended synchronisation, 'versioning' and ability to backup SQL dbs are the biggest benefits. Once get used to the interface and its way of doing things is pretty straight forward.

I really like the simplicity and accessibility of SyncBack. It's so easy for me to run a backup manually each day, and check it for completeness when it's done.

Syncback Pro is a solid backup solution that does not require a lot of experience to configure.

I use most of the time the mirror feature in order to backup my cloud space and not only it does always a great job but new profiles are always very easy to set up.

It works best, but what I liked more was the costumer service.

The best functions for me are the conditions for starting profiles, eg by logging in to Windows, closing a specific program. I also appreciate the simplicity of the program.

To backup everything manually is time consuming and fraught with possible errors. Some backup programs will overwrite newer versions of files with older versions, which can be a disaster.

For instance, in Cloud > Advanced, there are settings for number of threads. It says to use more than the default and it also says that too many will degrade performance.

The tech support is very responsive and helpful in expediting our purchase order so that we can continue our work after the trial license expired.

Besides error messages in a C-Drive backup, all other drives back up easily.

It is good for backup on most of your harddrives. Migrating info from your C-Drive does have some issues.

We can connect through the Microsoft API and SyncBack handles the throttling very well. Recently someone changed the admin password for the account we were using to keep everything in sync.

The thing I like most about SyncBackPro is that it is easy to use and it provides a variety of features that can be utilized by any user.

But it gives no real guidelines or conclusions, just says to experiment.

Intuitive and user friendly back-up software. I also like that you can set up the backups with versioning.

I do not have time to mess around with setting the program's sync profile. It will not recognize the code sent by Microsoft to verify the setup for OneDrive.

Cohesity is an amazing platform that greatly reduced out data management and backup footprint. I really like the ease of use and ability to have one place to go for all of our data protections needs.

Cohesity has been excellent to work with. The local team is always helpful and responsive, support is excellent, and the product exceeds all expectations.

I don't agree with their method of releasing updates or the lack of a notification system regarding those updates.

Also, it is a compact four node system and has integration with several other vendors like VMware , AWS, Azure etc.

Cohesity has allowed us to move to a global backup platform that has modern cloud based capabilities, enabling a more flexible and cost efficient architecture.

My biggest complaint is, there is no Cohesity sponsored user training. Many other software businesses offer some user training.

Unfortunately, it often happens that bugs are delivered with updates.

No centralized credential manager. No global options for backup exclusions - have to manually set options for each policy you create.

Ability to centrally manage and assign storage shares has been a great addition.

And the setup and install of Cohesity was seamless. Choesity support is one of the best support teams.

At first some of the features were missing that other vendors were already offering but Cohesity have caught up.

Application backups (Exchange, SQL, AD) will all require an agent and the agent management is very poor in my opinion.

Being able to centrally manage and protect our data, as well as the advanced security features to protect from ransomware attack, helps us all sleep better at night.

We had issues deployment but that was related to the servers. But cohesity support was very helpful and did a great job.

Cohesity has been very easy to install with an intuitive interface. The development team is adding new features and growing capabilities.

It did so without any issues (even on the virtual edition). The elastic search functionality is impressive and really helps us locate everything we need quickly.

Cohesity has been a quick and easy win for our department. Setup and installation was quick and we were able to start backing up our VMs and legacy NAS devices.

The overall experience has been great so far. We were able to get multiple admins up to speed how how to recover files and databases with ease.
