No incentive was offered It's been great to build out the dashboards that we need to see what's working in real-time so we can make smart, data-backed decisions, in real-time. #### Ratings breakdown - Ease of use: 4/5 - Value for money: 4/5 - Customer support: 5/5 - Functionality: 4/5 #### Pros As a marketer who tends to geek out on performance data, it's been great to have a solid dashboard solution that allows me to connect multiple data sources, aggregate all the data and slice and dice to create visual charts, graphs and tables that paint a clear picture of how our marketing initiatives are performing. #### Cons Again as a marketer (vs. a data analyst), there is a bit of a learning curve at first when figuring out how to leverage Grow's data manipulation and filtering tools. But the Grow team has continually made improvements to these systems, which have dramatically improved the metric/dashboard building experience. My main criticisms, which are probably not unique to Grow, just revolve around the integrations that they provide. Getting information quickly helps in the quick evaluation of information. Great onboarding process that really set us up for success in teaching not only tactics but mentalities for working with data and the platform. For our company, those that are familiar with BI tools are able to use it intuitively and effectively. For those unfamiliar with BI tools there's definitely still a learning curve. #### Ratings breakdown - Ease of use: 5/5 - Value for money: 4/5 - Customer support: 5/5 - Functionality: 4/5 #### Pros * Customer Support: both pre-acquisition and after epicor the customer service team has stayed the same and been very helpful. They both solve your problems and teach * Setup/Features: I think it's the easiest business intelligence platform to use. Quick to get from a question to a proof of concept * They're very receptive to feature suggestions #### Cons * With the ease of use the tradeoff is that it's not as intuitive to generate more advanced calculations inside of the charts (e.g. create a forecast trend line). So it's not for those that need very advanced analysis * When the GUI doesn't seem to be the solution to achieve what you need, inevitably you'll need to use SQL. This is less of a pain than it used to be but you should be prepared to incorporate (or ask AI) * The data table will preview 300 rows when you are building a metric. I realize this is likely for performance but I'd love the option to see more entries. No incentive was offered Our experience with Grow has been amazing. We have never used any sort of BI software before Grow but we had heard and seen bits of Microsoft BI, but gave up trying to learn it as it wasn't very user friendly we found. However with Grow all the data is in one place. It is very user friendly to make basic metrics. However, if you want to go full BI they provide the tools to make complex coded metrics using SQL. These metrics can then be displayed on your P21 dashboard showing you all the key business metrics from the second you log in. The implementation was stress free and easy and the support guys at Grow are great and are always there should you need any help. #### Ratings breakdown - Ease of use: 5/5 - Value for money: 5/5 - Customer support: 5/5 - Functionality: 5/5 #### Pros The fact that it is real time data that updates metrics you create automatically. It means that you don't have to keep pulling data out of the system that is then out of date within the next day. Grow can also email these metrics on a daily basis to give people key information about the business that is correct all the time. #### Cons There isn't much to dislike about Grow, the implementation is great. The mobile app is great, the browser based software is great. But if I had to pick something it might be the fact that you need 6 months data to get started. The setup is ideal for our company. #### Cons The one thing I do not like about Grow is the ability to have filtered PDF reports. When I apply my filters (drivers, locations, date ranges), they do not show up in the PDF report.
