They both solve your problems and teach \* Setup/Features: I think it's the easiest business intelligence platform to use. Quick to get from a question to a proof of concept \* They're very receptive to feature suggestions Cons: \* With the ease of use the tradeoff is that it's not as intuitive to generate more advanced calculations inside of the charts (e.g. create a forecast trend line). So it's not for those that need very advanced analysis \* When the GUI doesn't seem to be the solution to achieve what you need, inevitably you'll need to use SQL. This is less of a pain than it used to be but you should be prepared to incorporate (or ask AI) \* The data table will preview 300 rows when you are building a metric. I realize this is likely for performance but I'd love the option to see more entries. Cons: Again as a marketer (vs. a data analyst), there is a bit of a learning curve at first when figuring out how to leverage Grow's data manipulation and filtering tools. But the Grow team has continually made improvements to these systems, which have dramatically improved the metric/dashboard building experience. My main criticisms, which are probably not unique to Grow, just revolve around the integrations that they provide. They are still missing some popular platform connections that we need. We have never used any sort of BI software before Grow but we had heard and seen bits of Microsoft BI, but gave up trying to learn it as it wasn't very user friendly we found. However with Grow all the data is in one place. It is very user friendly to make basic metrics. However, if you want to go full BI they provide the tools to make complex coded metrics using SQL. These metrics can then be displayed on your P21 dashboard showing you all the key business metrics from the second you log in. The implementation was stress free and easy and the support guys at Grow are great and are always there should you need any help. It means that you don't have to keep pulling data out of the system that is then out of date within the next day.
