The CUSTOMER SERVICE STINKS. I needed some additional service and had to go elsewhere to get it, because the customer service department failed to get back with me.

A great all around tool that we depend on for every position. It also gives you the ability to keep track of all your employees and where their salary falls according to the local market.

Payscale is a fantastic site because you can use it to see how much you should be earning at your job. Otherwise how else can you find out how much people in your industry are making.

The MarketPay platform UI is pretty dated, but I don’t believe that takes away from the product. The Insight Lab platform is terrible for anyone who needs to price more than 50 or so jobs.

UNRELIABLE service uptime. ONGOING system outages that are highly disruptive to accessing the site.

Difficult user interface - not intuitive. Not good comps available, so data meaningless.

The customer service in trying to talk to a person was terrible. They don't answer the phone.

I was a little weary of having to put my current company's name in my report because I am part of a VERY small team and they would know it is me.

From a user standpoint, the tool is very easy to use - just like a spreadsheet. As the administrator, it meets most of our requirements.

There is no least about PayScale software. PayScale tell me what salary should my job be during the interview.

Get better customer service and answer your phones with a human being. I promise they do not get back with you.

For Sr level management which everything rolls up to, it makes it difficult to pick up where they left off in the process. Something to think about.

Its a helpful tool whether you are looking to price out your 'worth' in consideration of a potential job offer, or you are looking to bench mark positions within your organization.

I think this gives a good idea where a position is valued as a starting point. I think more information is helpful.

It's a great tool--they have an impressive amount of data from which they are pulling results.

We implemented the payscale platforms (insight lab first then moved to MarketPay when we realized how bad the Insight Lab product is) to store all of our external salary surveys in one place.

Having a good team that can help ensure the system is as intuitive as possible really helps to add value.

The UI is pretty basic without any bells and whistles, but the product works well to store compensation data and to report off of it. Ad hoc pricing is great for pulling data for new roles.

The amount of manual work that must be done to match each job is ridiculous, and I don’t know why anyone would think the process is acceptable.

The data is not current and accurate. We had pay ranges reported that were below minimum wage.

A solid platform that works well for certain clients. With their Essentials suite, the pricing is more competitive for the smaller client.

Ease of use, the functionality. The ability to add more API's as well as creating different levels of administration.

Its hard to focus on what you need to see as the interface is very cluttered. Also, Hardware requirements and licensing can be taxing.

VSphere has robustness with simple ease of use and equally easy deployment with great support and documentation.

Pricing for smaller business can be a pain. Smaller companies that are trying to adopt VMware will find it very hard on the wallet.

Very friendly interface and the ability to increase VM specs without the need to shutdown the VM also very stable when migrating VMs from a host to another.

Great foundation for ever growing virtualization stack.

Now I run all our servers on VMWare with an integrated remote cloud service for backup. Just the ability to preserve data stored in the vintage ERP alone was worth the cost.

It is a great software, even masterpiece in some aspects. But it feels as it requires too much resources and money to be justified in the most of cases.

With the recent Corvid outbreak, we were actually able to implement VPNs and grant remote access without having to invest in new hardware.

A perfect sofware for virtualization, multi-operating system integration.

Robust and can be easily integrated with third party applications and plugins like NetApp, EMC etc. Update manager is also integrated which cn be used to upgrade associated ESXi hosts, and components.

I love how powerful and useful this hypervisor is. with the html5 interface and solid functionality , it cannot be beat.

Fault Tolerance - Zero downtime. Wow that you rarely get with any other virtualization platform.

Very positive experience with both the software and the support staff.

It's cost-effective - pay as use concept if no need stop your services and get free from billings.

Features like HA, DRS, Virtual Switch makes its best available virtualization solution available.

It is a robust hypervisor that has ton of features like HA, Fault tolerance, vmotion. I like the fact that complex features are easy to implement.

Access sometimes temporarily cuts out for a few minutes at a time.

Some newer versions of VMware cause some programs to fail when VMware is upgraded.

Having something that remote workers could access, that was stable and secure meant we able to weather the storm. The ESXi is easy to access as it is web based.

The support from the community is one of the best things to work with vmWare. Almost all the companies are compatible or run over vmWare vSphere.

Impossible to convert a machine to a virtual machine on the same hard disk of the local machine...you need another hard drive or network drive.

I think it’s very best and effective software for business and company so definitely i recommend this over any other software.

Trial licensing can be confusing and the fact that end of the trial disables features could be catastrophic to some deployments.

This is one of the best softwares for virtual machines in the market. It is worth the time to learn it.

Extremely flexible and a breeze to maintain once you are setup. Customer service and support is very responsive when you need them.

Vsphere is great product to manage your VMware environment. Easy to use and updating is super easy.

When comes to server virtulazation vSphere is the best hypervisor solution and so easy to manage and consolidate your servers all in one place.

I've had a 50/50 success rate with support. Sometimes they've been quite helpful and have gone out of their way to follow through.

Overall, I think  it is  worth it, as far as pricing goes. It  is a sturdy, robust product.
