Customer Support sometimes doesn't know how to fix problem, so it's a try this, try that scenario which is time consuming and annoying. Sometimes it fixes the problem, sometimes it doesn't.

Billing descriptors are limited so you have to generalize to find what fits.

Love how it auto populates my documents and keeps my matters all in one place.

Users should not have to subscribe to eBilling to accommodate these invoicing requirements. Very disappointed and on the  cusp of changing software providers.

There is clearly problem with leadership which causes a strict adherence to an ineffective set of policies. Off-shore outsourcing of Professional Services.

Too many to list:  tiny font, each additional feature is an upgrade in cost, limited reporting, customer service is a nightmare.

Very user friendly, makes it easy to learn and integrates well with all other programs that we currently use.

We remain with ProLaw because it is highly customizable and offers the best value for a firm our size.

Our billing is still not working correctly, randomly assigning incorrect rates to matters. Customer service is lousy and doesn't care.

It is very slow and can sometimes freeze. This happens when I have too many cases open, which is understandable, but it can get annoying.

Navigation, utility, lack of compatibility / comparability restrictions, numerous bugs / errors that have yet to be addressed.

It was server based - so nobody could login remotely without VPN- that is a silly inconvenience at this point in 2020.

Setting up the document generators is difficult and not always easy to edit. It also times out a lot and loses connection.

Coming from large corporations it was amazing to me to find that there are companies  utilizing multiple non-integrated platforms to run their business.

Overall software is an utter shambles of committee designed modules that integrate poorly,  bugs and errors are numerous and fixes take forever.

They will likely sell you the wrong version initially, etc. If you are a new user, a migrating user, just expect to have lots of headaches in the beginning.

Great vision for a converged legal platform, but clearly under-resourced.

Easy to use and functionality is superb. The interface is easy to read, making it easy to use.

This program is so much better than our prior software. We are capturing more hours and collecting more money.

I have nothing against West generally. I just have over 20 years of first-hand knowledge of how West negatively affecting this otherwise amazing product.

The best thing about prolaw was the ability to link client files on one main server that can be accessed by multiple users.

It did not play well with others like Word, Excell and Outlook. I had a very difficult time transferring the files over to a new system and the customer service was very poor.

There is a real problem with policy over practice at ProLaw. Any deviation from Standard Operating Procedure is a nightmare.

I have used Prolaw for over 20 years. In the beginning (pre-West), it was the most amazing product on the market with the most amazing customer service, for small to mid-sized firms.

The front office functionality is so robust I wouldn't even know where to start. You own it the software license which is a huge advantage to monthly subscriptions.

I like that the addresses and CMS were easily used to mail merge and to do newsletters. The invoicing was also super easy to use and you are able to capture billable time easily.

The integration of Word and Outlook are amazing time savers. The new Ai feature is awesome.

Definitely helped as far as organization of emails and other important documents. Easy to use and also has a speedy search engine.

I would recommend any law office with a large client base or just starting out to invest in Smokeball.

It is intuitive and works seemlessly with Microsoft Word and Outlook; it provides excellent customer service; it is accessible from one's phone.

The ease of organizing files and search capabilities are outstanding. I like the ability to work offline while traveling, and it has become an asset when working out of the office.

I love the customer support for smokeball. They are always there to walk you through things and help create a better system.

They also lack CRM functionality that many other providers are offering. Their closed API also makes it difficult to integrate with other software providers.

The integration with Microsoft Word and Outlook are great. Unlike other software programs, they work all the time and are easy to use.

Smokeball tech support is readily available and fantastic. There is so much functionality to what this software can do.

AI time tracking could be great feature if it continues to improve. Like the UI and the always available in the cloud feature.

Easy to use, easy to implement. Customer service is excellent they are always willing to improve their product and help with issues and questions.

The ease of the program and the ability of the support staff to make changes to the software to  specifications needed. The time saved with the use of this program is incredible.

They seem unconcerned about security issues that result. Fixing invoices is problematic.

The ease of integration for the products that I use is excellent and seamless. The time tracking capabilities help make sure that I don't miss a billable.

The billing features are what I like most as the the firm admin. It is extremely user friendly and helps me to stay on top of our accounts receivable.

No accounting or linking with QuickBooks. The offered document template set ups by their staff are poorly executed.

The biggest drawback for me is the inability to customize containers for info that we would use in our office setting.

It's very intuitive, efficient, and their support team is always helpful. I've called a number of times, and they are always easy to talk to and help answer my question.

Can overstate the quality of the program, the ease of use, and the customer service and support.

Everything is in one place and looks fantastic. Client's info, documents, notes, calendar items, billing, it's all in front of you.

It's difficult to switch from Plaintiff to Defendant if you open a case the wrong way, especially if you already have a lot of information in the case.

No sales tax calculation makes me unable to use the billing feature.

Great product but still lacking in essential features.

In other words even if you stop using their service you will personally have to still keep paying.

Smokeball has been an excellent practice management program for us, and their staff are prompt and helpful in helping with our needs.

Luckily for us, Smokeball is everywhere we are. With help from Smokeball's cloud-based system, we were able to transition to working from home very quickly and easily.

Excellent, saves time and helps me earn more money.
