CoConstruct is a project, financial, and client management system for custom home builders and remodelers. It is the only single-entry estimating system that allows each user to enter a piece of information once, and have that data flow directly from the estimate, specifications, selections, bids, change orders, budgets, and to and from QuickBooks – with no double entry. Users can manage their projects from their tablet or desktop, in in the field with our mobile app.

In addition to the fully integrated financial system, CoConstruct streamlines scheduling, communication, client and subcontractor portals, files, photos, to-dos, time clock, job log, warranty, and more.

CoConstruct provides builders unlimited, no-charge projects for use with prospects, estimating, and bidding. Each builder only pays for the number of projects currently under construction.

The CoConstruct subscription includes a dedicated implementation coach, custom branding to match the builder's website, phone and online support, unlimited ongoing training, and options to attend an in-person, 2-day training sessions with other CoConstruct users.

Pros

Tools is amazing. The support is highly recommend, probably the best aspect of it all. I'm using it daily to manage tasks and schedule. This is helping my clients, investors and the transparency builds trust.

So interactive and customizable yet amazingly affordable!

We are a home builder and we use this platform as our foundation with every client. We track the progress of construction from start to end along with all building documents, forms, pricing, quoting, plans, and more. We could not function the way we do without this software.

Pros

I love that there are already existing premade templates but that I can easily customize them. I love that I can engage with both my clients and vendors in this platform. It's a place that holds all of the information for each project in one place from contracts, to plans, to change orders, invoices, pdf's, and more.

Cons

There is so much in the program it can seem a little overwhelming at first, but once you get in there and realize how effective this can make you, your team, and your company, it is worth exploring and ensuring you use every aspect of the platform.

Using CoConstruct Construction Management Software

Customer service is simply stellar. The Tech people get back to me in just a couple of hours with the right answer.

Pros

Flexibility - can do virtually everything we need. And what it can't do, there are work-arounds. it is simple to use and allows you to navigate easily through the system.

Cons

There is a document format that it cannot produce - it may not be their fault. if they could strike a deal with the AIA, it would make my life much simpler.

CoConstruct's customer support is the new industry-standard!

Their web-based interface is VERY clean. Plus, they are constantly and systematically updating their product, listening to the feedback of their users. Incredible.

Pros

Hands-down the best customer support I have seen lately...really, they're incredible. Between their web-based knowledge base, their videos, the training coach they assign to you at the start of your enrollment, the customer support you can reach by phone during business hours, the support you can receive via email, AND the support you can receive via email during the weekend, these guys are insane about customer support! This company is going to DOMINATE the market!

Cons

Because of the vast amount of features this product offers, the learning curve is not for the faint of heart. But, their customer is really, the best that I have ever seen for a tech company, so if you're willing to put in the time up-front, you will never look back.

Easy to use, love the interaction between the customers. Support was great, anytime we had a question CoConstruct staff had answers. I like how each user can have their own ID and photo.

Cons

The site could be simplified a bit more. There are too many ways to complete a certain task. The notification task weren't as specific as I would have liked.

CoConstruct has truly changed the way we run our company!

Pros

CoConstruct makes dealing with clients and trades extremely easy! Everything is in one place and easy to find. The schedule is laid out well and is easy to use. The new PO system is the icing on the cake when it comes to tying your estimating in with your purchasing. No need to transfer your data onto an order sheet outside CoConstruct. Just a few clicks and your ordering is done!

Pros

The service excels at presenting an open communication dialog with clients. From photos to budgets and schedules, client feel like they always have access and information.

Cons

We do not like the limited information in app form. Therefor we really just use the full version in a web browser on our smaller devices.

CoConstruct Rocks!

I'm hoping in the near future to work with tech support to get our Quickbooks integrated with CoConstruct. I realize I've only scratched the surface of what this amazing software can do. Speaking of amazing...instead of the many years of having a static schedule that needs constant managing and reworking, but to have CoConstruct's interactive schedule that alerts trades when their work is coming up, and alerts my project managers of when to order materials, etc. is fantastic!

Pros

What's not to like?! Everything you could possibly need for each project: Financials, Schedule, Specs & Selections, Change Orders, Files & Photos, To-Dos, Messages, Job Log, Warranty, etc) is right at your fingertips 24/7 from your desktop, laptop or phone. Not only a kickass sales tool for wowing potential clients, but a super user-friendly tool to manage your jobs day to day. And on top of all that, their tech support is the best I've ever worked with. Thanks CoConstruct!

Cons

Truthfully, I haven't found anything I don't like yet. The only negative I can point to is that I haven't taken the time to take advantage of all that CoConstruct has to offer. If I could actually set up my work day like the example given in Donny's demo video, my life would be paradise!

Best Management Tool for contractors

Pros

CoConstruct is an easy to use and implement tool for contractors and custom builders. We have tried several of the other competitors and CoConstruct is by far the easiest and best tool out there. With full integration of specifications, budgets and accounting it saves us easily 10+ hours a week of repetitive data entry. It is a fantastic tool for communicating with our clients and subcontractors.

Cons

There is nothing I would classify as a con of using CoConstruct, the support team is always there to help us through a problem if we get stuck and they gave us tremendous support in implementing the product.

How Did We Manage Without It?

After reviewing several software options we selected CoConstruct for our Team and we couldn't be happier.

Pros

The overall organization capability has eliminated the need of (4) other platforms that we were constantly working between to keep updated. Now all of our data is in one place and easy to access.

Cons

There is a learning curve and implementation took some time. After getting everyone on board we feel it was well worth it.

Great Product

Great Product! I would recommend for any home builder or general contractor

Pros

Communication that it provides you with between you and your client are great. It makes it a great point of reference if the client does not remember their choice or product selection. Also great for change orders. Its instant so the client always remains updated.

Cons

The only con I would say is the variety of tabs, I like quick and simple. Possibly too many options to complete one task.

I think the software is good and has a lot of great features , the invoicing to clients through quickbooks is the the limiting

the scheduling being global , our suppliers and contractors are enjoying the access the estimating and selection integration is too a very powerful piece of equipment which our contractor use

The integration with quick books is very limiting we are unable to progress claim to our clients through this which almost makes us want to not use co construct
I have been told that Quickbooks does not progress claim.
Australian Quickbooks does but the GST can not be altered to 15% from 10%. So no one can use this apart from Australia.
Can you please explain what co construct recommendation is for its accounting software so we can use the system fully.No builder that I know bills a house at the end of the build or in one go.We develop also and our banks require progress payments for work being completed so we can fund the projects along with all our clients requiring claims.
I have been lead around in circles for 2 weeks now trying to get a solution.
Can Co Construct confirm its solution to use all its features

Many of our clients want to move as much of their financial management into CoConstruct, regardless of the capabilities of their accounting system, so we will soon be adding invoicing capabilities, which will then push those invoices into QuickBooks. Co Construct has been a godsend

Overall I am satisfied. It has many features that have proven useful over the time period in which we have used it. We are looking forward to seeing what the future has in store for this already feature jam-packed software.

Pros

Absolutely everything about this product perfectly fits our needs. It has every feature we were looking for, and THEN some! The to do list is a life saver for one, And coordinating schedules works seamlessly. I love having the option to share files, and have a quick way to channel information promptly.

Cons

I think that the only thing that could use some work is sharing files and photos. It needs to be more streamlined. One of the guys could not get it to work. A tool tip would have been good for him to view to explain things in more detail.

Valuable Tool

Co-Construct has been a valuable tool for our custom home building business. The software is very user-friendly and easy to navigate. We like the job costing features, how it streamlines the bidding process, and that it integrates with our accounting program. Our customers like being able to make their selections, see their budget and communicating with us all in the same place. And Co-construct tech support is quick to respond to any issues and take note of features that would be useful to us in the future.

Using Coconstruct is awesome!

I have looked at other systems and always come back to cocon due to the features and ease of use.

Pros

I can keep all information for each project in one place. Including contracts, specifications, variations and all communication.
Our clients love the fact that they can access the info anywhere and at anytime.
We love it because there is little or no confusion resulting in less disputes.

Cons

Its expensive for smaller jobs.
I would like to see a contract period reconciler to keep track of the contract period, extensions of time and variations extensions of time. We currently do this manually.
