The way bids are bid!

Pros

The fact that subs don't have to register to use the system is the key.

Cons

Could use comment space for each sub to note where they came from, who they used to work for, etc.

Response from PipelineSuite

Lee - Thank you for taking the time to provide your review and feedback! There actually is a way you can track where a sub came from, who they used to work for, etc. In your Settings, you can create Custom Fields and track anything you want! Contact your dedicated rep or email support@pipelinesuite.com and we'll show you how!

Multiple Companies

I have had nothing but great support and service from Pipeline. They have worked with us in the past adding new features as bid packages evolved.

Pros

I used Pipeline Suite at a previous company for 6 years. When I joined Leonard Contracting, they immediately signed up with the software after walking them through the key features. Pipeline saved Leonard Contracting 3 hours of work per bid invite.

Cons

I do not have anything negative to say about Pipeline.

Reasons for choosing PipelineSuite Bid Management

Pipeline has a directory of its own subs that we use in areas that we have not worked before.

Pipeline Suite User

Overall, it was a good program to start our bid invite process on or if you are a smaller company it would be good and cost effective. However, it's very manual. We have since changed to a more automated and user friendly program for our own needs.

Pros

This software is simple to use and is effective. It's user friendly and a beginner can learn quickly how to operate all aspects of the program.

Cons

This software is very limited and repetitive. If we want to send invites to a specific vendor, we have to list that vendor in each sub category and select from the sub category. This would in essence drive us to set up each vendor and then go through an incredibly long sub list for each vendor. We have hundreds of vendors an this takes an immense amount of time. Very manual.

The program is very friendly user and will contiune to use.

I have really enjoyed Pipeline for having the capabilities to look up and submit projects to subs with ease.

Pros

Having all your subs information online and with couple clicks they are invited to bid projects.

Cons

The software has some extra options that does not interest me at time.

Reasons for choosing PipelineSuite Bid Management

I would have to scroll thru Excel and look up subs and attach drawings and etc. for them to bid projects. Also with Pipeline I can see if the sub has reviewed the project or not.

PipelineSuite Increases Efficiency

Overall, PipelineSuite has been a game changer. We are no longer doing our bidding the "old school" way and can bid on many larger-scale projects with ease and less confusion.

Pros

PipelineSuite makes it easy to centralize all projects bidding, maintain a master contact list that stays private, and allows us to prequalify subcontractors and vendors. Also, the customer support I've received from Andy has been top-notch!

Cons

My experience with the PipelineDirectory hasn't been the best. The options can sometimes be pretty limited, with not many new subcontractors and vendors being listed in a particular search area.

Reasons for choosing PipelineSuite Bid Management

The others seemed to incorporate a lot of bells and whistles that drove up the cost and weren't necessary.
