Once you learn the basics it becomes a snap!

Pros

I like that I have access to everything I need in the palm of my hand that helps me avoid followup when I return from the field.

Cons

Data entry isn't as easy as a traditional Excel system. Sometimes pages fail to load and it's hard to switch from tab to tab if you only have one screen open.

Pros

Customer service is extremely helpful. Everything is in one spot. Easy to work with most of the time.

Cons

Using some of the features is extremely tedious and time consuming if at times. There are issues within each aspect such as unapproving a change order if others have been approved with it or getting the company directory to be easily used by everyone in your company.

It's the best software in the industry.

Pros

Ease of use for our associates and clients. Integrates with other software fairly well and continues to grow. Amazing customer service and adapting to changing technologies.

Cons

Need to continue to improve the amount of integration with financials and preconstruction. It has come a long way, but not fully there yet.

User friendly. It is a one stop shop and allows you to do all your construction needs and one app.

Cons

It doesn't save your photos in the program. What I mean by this is you have to keep your photos on your phone till the projects done when you create a punch list and attach a photo on there if you aluminate the photo from your camera roll and no longer is linked to the punch list

The things I like the most about Procore are how much time the software saves you by not having to manually create logs for RFI, Submittals, Change order etc. I also like how easy it is to access "how to videos" should you get stuck on a tool.

Cons

I do wish Procore had some sort of a feature which would allow you to integrate material procurement operations along with everything else that is on Procore.

I like the updates on the drawings which are clearly marked when an RFI or any change is made by the G.C. or Architect. The daily log tool and observations are also very useful in the management and tracking process.

Cons

I believe there could be some shortcuts for ease of printing small sections in the markup and the measurement tool should have an auto acknowledgment of the line.

The thing I like most about this software is that it keeps things nice and organized. Our employees and subs like that because it's easily accessible.

Cons

The thing that I like least about this software is that they do updates in the middle of the day. It is extremely irritating when I get a note from an employee letting me know that they are unable to access something in Procore because they've decided to run an update in the middle of the day. Also, we are not always able to access certain things and when we reach out to customer support, they'd rather send us an article than go over it with us, although we've explained that we are short on time.

Pros

Procore is very easy to pick up and use efficiently. For construction, it is easy to add new members, orientate them, and turn them loose to use the software. The software makes the document control process of a project, and streamlines it into one, easy to use platform that can take you from the start of the project, all the way through closeout.

Cons

If you don't use all of the features of the product it may seem bulky. At times the software is negatively impacted by poor CPU and/or internet performance.

Pros

I love how integrated the software is. Every portion of the software has the opportunity to talk to the others. The customer service is phenomenal as well! I usually get a response and answer resolved in 5 minutes after initiating a question. They also take your ideas very seriously regarding how to improve the experience using their software.

Cons

There's not a lot bad to say about Procore. Something that they could improve on, though, is the reporting tool. It's not very intuitive and it's difficult to understand how to do what you want to do.

It has enable us to get a better picture of the project in whole. It has opened up visibility from beyond just a project team! Now executives, and other folks can see where we are at with a job and assess risk appropriately.

Pros

It is constantly evolving and getting better. Procore takes user feedback to improve their software daily. Very user friendly. Easy to navigate within the system and the training videos and live customer support make getting help very accessible. BEST APP for field use!!!! Daily reports, punch lists, photos have never been easier to do from the field.

Cons

Not much for safety yet. I would like to see stored PPE's, tool box talks, etc. Also forms to report accidents! Does not integrate with Sage 100 MasterBuilder. This by far is the hardest thing we have encountered. This means double entries for all things financial related (Subcontracts, CO's, Budgets, Prime Contracts, etc.)

The thing I like the most about this software is that everyone on the project owner, general contractor, sub , safety inspectors etc, are all looking at the same data and we can communicate much more efficiently

Pros

Its easy to use and understand. I feel like it genuinely helps me do my job better. The Drawings tool is amazing. I love that I can use the documents to give everyone on the project access to documents. I mostly like the submittal process, just wish you all could do the initial set up of it from the spec book. The RFI process since it's latest updates are awesome......

Cons

SO many things still in development..... Im trying to be patient :) My old submittal program uploaded the submittal list from the spec book. It takes so long to enter them in excel and them upload them, especially on a big project. There are also little things that our bid software mastered that are not yet available through Procore

Pros

I like that there is a written record of all work. It is easy to record meetings and decisions, which makes the ordering process and procurement process easier

Better clarity into the activities, documentation and critical information associated with our project, which number in the hundreds. Procore allows us to easily collaborate with our employees, outside members, other consultants, our clients, etc. Perhaps most importantly, Procore enables us to better serve our clients by keeping critical project information together in a trusted system. It has even enabled us to compete with much larger firms by showcasing the quality of work product produced from within Procore.

Pros

As an Agile-led development team, Procore is constantly improving their product through extensive analytics and actual customer feedback. This is a process I've witnessed first hand. In terms of the product, Procore integrates all the key tools needed for managing projects in the built environment. In addition, the product helps reinforce best practices in construction project management, which coming from a forensic expert, that's definitely a good thing when it comes to proactively managing risk. If more companies simply relied on tools like Procore for managing their projects, there would be a measurable decrease in claims, disputes and litigation.

Cons

Despite extensive multimedia training materials, Procore remains a very difficult tool for onboarding new employees. In addition, the Procore marketing materials didn't set proper expectations for the overhead required to implement Procore company-wide. Additionally, Procore has made the decision to really focus their tools and the language used for describing those tools on very specific roles - primarily general contractors, at-risk CMs with trade contractors and engineers occupying the second tier or class of clients. For agency CMs, architects, other consultants, etc., use of the product is somewhat different from how the documentation describes it.

Overall I love the program but there are some features, mainly the billing/ requisitions feature.

Pros

The ease and organization. Being able to push contracts to sage and issue change orders easily. It helps with billings as well.

Cons

There is not enough customization in the setting up of SOVs in the requisitions. I also hate contacting customer support. Many give answers to issues with "I think" or "I believe' they never know with certainty. I also do not like the small talk they want to have at the beginning of the chat . I'd rather get straight to the point. I am not contacting to ask how everyones day is. I am contacting for a solution.
