Enterprise-level businesses leverage Procore to manage construction projects, field communications, drawings, documents, and more.

Procore operates under the Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) model, allowing general contractors and project managers to buy the software on a subscription basis.

Procore is awesome

Love Procore

Pros

I think almost everything is great. I like how stream line it makes things and how it makes things more organized.

Cons

Sometimes it takes along time to save something. I have found sometimes a group of picture takes a long time to save.
Sometimes my login gets revoked on the app

Overall Positive and Simple Use

Pros

The simplicity makes it easy to explain across disciplines and skill sets. My personal favorite option is being able to e-mail directly.

Cons

Setup is not always left in the best hands and the system is not easy enough, or perhaps does not offer as much support down the line to make changes.

Procore Review

Pros

All in one project management software that creates a seamless platform for keeping your project on task.

Cons

I have come across very few cons with the software but as with any new software getting the proper buy in from everyone is crucial to take advantage of its capabilities.

Procore has proved a great organizational tool, especially as someone new to the Construction industry.

Not at this time

Pros

The RFI, Submittal, Drawings, and Meetings portals are very clear and easy to use for all parties involved.

Cons

The Financial/Change Order services can be more fine-tuned/customized to a specific projects needs.

Procore

I really like how Procore does not stay stagnant once something is distributed. They continue to listen to the users and make improvements as they go.

Pros

Procore has made it very easy for all parts of the company to be on the same page through out the entire project. Now Project Management can upload documents and the CAD and Field team can see changes in real time, avoiding the installation of the wrong product.

Cons

The biggest issue i have with Procore is that each type of device there is something a little different. A desk top computer has a different set up than does a tablet and or a smart phone. Smart phones are different based on Android or Apple.

Better for Contractors but still helpful to the Design Team

Overall this is a handy program to have, especially if you have access via the mobile app and are looking at conditions on site.

Pros

Its communications features allow easy transfer of information to the entire team of builders and designers in one shot. Storage of all documents throughout project life. easily searchable. Ability to perform punch list within the app. Plans available for viewing via App.

Cons

Difficult to customize some options if not at the right level of access. Not so easy to modify or withdraw an item once it has been created.

Procore Experience

Pros

Procore is a major time saver from a project assistant's perspective along with the ease of use. The short tutorials are a benefit if you need a refresher or finding out how another discipline uses Procore.

Cons

With all the new features, Procore has become somewhat convoluted. Almost too much information and then trying to filter what is the best use for your company especially a smaller one like ours.

Happy to Have Procore

Do the training - very good presentation.

Pros

The product is a one stop for all the information I would ever need to access on a job. It has job progress and photos for people who may never see the project in construction.

Cons

I have so many jobs going through Procore - though they do have a wonderful job of sorting them _ I would like to have access to removing projects that are done.

Procore is a one stop shop for project management

Pros

There is no other platform that compares the efficiency. Ease of use. Ability to see the whole project, even if you are just a subcontractor.

Cons

Ability to track what you have downloaded and what you have not downloaded. If there are several users who are uploading documents, then they need to adhere to a standard, hard to enforce that.

Sets a precedent in Construction Management

ProCore provides an amazing service and of all the alternative I've seen is at the pinnacle of construction management software for daily activities. In addition has a correspondence module that tracks all emails sent about a project if you CC the address.

Pros

- Real time daily log updates, delivery tracking, Quantity tracking, Man hour tracking, and notes sections
- Custom reports that allows you to create reports with specific metrics you want to isolate.

Cons

- I would have to say a constant issue I have with ProCore is the export function on different reports. If you have a note section that has additional spacing in between lines, the export will condense it all as if it's one continuous paragraph. I wish it would just stay with the spacing used.

No Other Option! Procore is the Best!

Pros

Procore is the most versatile, adaptable, and comprehensive construction management software that exists in the industry. Not only is Procore dedicated to constantly improving its product, but it listens to the people who actually use it by focusing on the most pressing needs of the user. Procore is efficient, easy to use, and an overall excellent software.

Cons

The only downside of Procore is that there are not many ways to create a Project Charter or Project Map that lists out all of the objectives and requirements for a project that will need to be achieved in a particular stage.
