RedTeam is a commercial construction project management solution suited for midsize commercial construction companies. It is a cloud application developed by contractors to manage pre-construction, construction, as well as project closeout stages. The solution connects team members using any device as well as offers native apps for Android and iOS devices.

RedTeam's project management solution helps in generating new business, estimating, bid solicitation, scheduling, contracting, and construction accounting with real-time integration to QuickBooks. In addition to project management, RedTeam also has a functionality for CRM, estimating, bid management and job cost accounting.

The solution captures project information in a natural way by tracking everyday conversations between team members and enables users to maximize their productivity. RedTeam features performance management, streamlining of business development activities, unlimited data storage, backups, upgrades, support, and ongoing training through free live and pre-recorded training webinars.

    Give RedTeam some serious thought as they will be the next up and coming software to compete against the big software companies.

    Pros

    Always developing improvements to the software. The customer service is exceptional and always respond quickly. The platform has a lot of functionalities that really start to benefit the users once you spend some time working in RedTeam. I would highly recommend RedTeam to General Contractors such as my self.

    Cons

    To be honest there was no major drawbacks for me. The only thing would be the estimating tab takes a couple seconds longer to load but it might just be my setup. I simply use excel and dump the estimate into RedTeam very easily

    This software gets you in track of your team's project from planning, the acquisition, the work in progress, to its accomplishment. I love how this allows me to connect with my team members anywhere using our mobile devices and have all the data I need one click away such as the schedules through the gantt chart included in the app! And most esp the billing/cost information that I have to monitor in real time.

    Redteam is easy to use but does not allow more than 3 users at a time which affects because someone can kick you out in the middle of doing your work

    you have to keep logging back in when their are than 3 people using it which is time consuming also it can be difficult at times to use the search engine to locate a project if you are not specific

    Quite a bit of bells and whistles. There is a sloooow help desk, wiki, training videos, FAQ's. Possibly once you enter all your vendors etc in maybe it be decent.

    Cons

    Had tons of issues with the estimating portion of their site and then need to get the vendors and subcontractors on it which for small businesses takes time to learn especially if it is not intuitive. Which it is quite unintuitive. Maybe if one had time to learn a whole system then it be fine but for small businesses that time is money...look elsewhere.

    What i like most about the product is the ease of use. The training videos make everything very easy.

    Cons

    What i like least is the fact we have to utilize Quickbooks on line. The desktop version of Quickbooks was much easier to use.

    RedTeam's Support Team has been amazing and has helped us along the way with getting the application implemented and also answering any and all questions that we have had.

    Pros

    RedTeam is a complete solution eliminating the need for the support, learning and management of multiple applications. This makes it easier to deploy and use on a daily basis by our entire corporation.

    Cons

    The financial segment does require the use of QuickBooks Online, but it makes up for this through the robust reports and handling of project financials on the RedTeam side.

    Customer service is great. They are very friendly and want to help. If they don't know the answer they will find it for you.
    You can get on RedTeam from anywhere you have the internet.
    All your information is saved in one location.
    I think RedTeam will be great when it is fully implemented and all the "bugs" are worked out.

    Cons

    Harder for some to use that are not very knowledgeable on computers.
    Start up of the software needs to have more one on one help. Videos and Webinars are very helpful but it would be nice to have one customer service rep that gets to know you and your company that can help you through the whole start up and not several different reps that you have to re-explain things to.

    Financial overview at the click of a button

    Pros

    At the click of a button you can find out all kinds of information about a project you are working on. If by chance someone is out of the office anyone that looks at the information will know what is going on with any project.

    Cons

    There seem to be too many limitations. They also don't seem very appreciative of suggestions. There seems to be a lot of snags in the background and explanation of why things work the way they do, do not make sense.

    Great price, but allow plenty of time on the learning curve.

    Pros

    Lots of features are included and the price point is excellent compared to the competition. The support team is energetic and helpful.

    Cons

    The product is not intuitive. You must follow a rigorous process to get things entered into the app. In learning, we spent a lot of time trying to determine which Phase the project needed to be listed in to be able to enter the data we needed to. For a single project we spent hours traversing back and forth within the tool trying to learn the precise spot to get something done. It was frustrating and unnecessarily rigid.

    Drawing log doesn't use the correct dates when they name the pages.

    Fairly new users here, still on implementation process. Support has been really good so far.

    The fact that is Web based allows use on multiple platforms, and integration with QuickBooks online is a plus.

    Cons

    Training is video based for the most part, even if support staff is always happy to answer questions a manual or quick reference guide would be handy.

    This software company actually seems to care about your company. Our company has gone through countless different softwares and with all of them their customer service was horrible. Trying to fix an issue with most of them was like pulling teeth. Not with RedTeam though. You can basically look at them as one of your employees.

    Pros

    The best thing about this software is how user friendly it is and if there is anything you cant figure out there is always either a video on how to do it, an article to read about it, or someone who you can schedule a one on one with to have them walk you through it. The customer service is just remarkable!

    Cons

    There is one thing I wish this software and that is dispatching. I believe someone from RedTeam stated that dispatching is on there list of tools to incorporate and if/when that is incorporated I think this software would be perfect!

    Having set up several other management software systems, I was used to poor customer service upon signing the contract. Redteam's staff changed that opinion immediately and now two years in, continue to respond in less than 24 hours, have continued to improve their online issues tracking, have great webinars for learning features, and continue to improve every aspect of their product. They were hands on in the implementation, and always followed through to make sure we were pointed in the right direction or using features properly if asked. I'd love to thank all of their staff by name, but that might take too long. Other things I loved were that there has been no staff turn over, which with some of the other vendors I deal with, has been a major issue. Once implemented, and trained your staff will love this product.

    We liked the Red Team offered a software that integrated all the components of construction administration from bid to final closeout. The price was right. We just found it difficult to use and not very intuitive.

    The price and the fact that ALL the components of the construction administration are covered.

    It was difficult to use and not very intuitive. The terminology was different than we were used to and was part of the reason we could never get fully functional with Red Team
