The platform is clear and user friendly. Great product, it took us a few hours to migrate from our database on premise to that on Aiven.

As far as I can tell there's no way to set a separate billing email.

Overall all of my interactions with the Aiven team have been positive, even if we didn't arrive at a solution the support team is knowledgeable and truly tries to help.

Easy to get started with, support is reactive, overall it is a great experience for newcomers.

As for the system itself it has been pretty rock solid so far.

Additionally, the dashboards built into the dashboard are pretty useful for monitoring the overall state of the Postgres instance.

The plans with redundancy are also cool because you get full access to the slave as a read-only replica, this means you can run heavy select queries without putting load on the main database.

We use this product to back our application for all environments. It is a huge improvement over our previous provider who was less expensive, but not nearly as stable or user friendly.

Low limits on maximum connections for SaaS use-cases where a large number of connections are required. Do not have root/postgres admin access to install custom extensions.

Easy to create an account and a database. Customer support is very good.

The console was easy to use and intuitive. We were evaluating GCP CloudSQL vs Aiven and really what it came down to is that Aiven has better up time.

I love being able to completely copy a database from one server to another with a few clicks, which makes it super quick to keep my dev environment in sync with the live database.

Provides a point-and-click interface and you get to see the actual SQL being generated. Excellent for running queries on tables with lots of records.

The application is not developing, I bought a license for 3 years and I am disappointed.

The Test Data Loading is a wonderful tool where we can just load about 100K to 500K Records without any issues. This feature has helped us performing some initial tuning to the Queries.

I was struggling to get a product that can help me develop as easy as Access. Now with this software I found myself developing faster and give me joy because I found it almost as easy as Access.

Sometimes it crashes when I  accidentally press F10.

Limited functionality to access/update database properties compared to SQL Management Studio.

Company provides highly reliable and functional products at great prices, but customer service takes a long time to respond.

The only negative thing is the customer portal. It could be a little bit user friendly.

Very easy to use, has all the features I needed. Data and schema comparison and data synchronisation are perfect and no other software can compete with it.

Showing the foreign key table when clicking the foreign key is awesome.

Makes SSMS unstable and locks it up frequently, forcing me to force quit through the task manager.

Sometimes you just need to do a quick edit to a view and it's a bit frustrating to deal with.
