Exorbitantly high fees

It often feels like an unjustified expense when compelled to use this payment service.

PROS

While a reasonable 5% charge would be acceptable, they appear to overcharge customers, taking advantage of the fact that schools mandate its use.

CONS

The convenience fees at K12Payment Center are exorbitantly high, with instances like charging $2.60 for a $15 school shirt purchase. It often feels like an unjustified expense when compelled to use this payment service. While a reasonable 5% charge would be acceptable, they appear to overcharge customers, taking advantage of the fact that schools mandate its use. It would be more customer-friendly if this platform offered a free option, such as the ability to link a checking account for payments.
