Pros/Cons
  • Pros

  • Ability to upload own HTML files and connecting with an SMTP makes it equally good enough as an email marketing tool. Ability to apply for AMP with Google directly from Mailmodo.
  • Can Import E-mail templates from other E-mail building platforms like Stripo. Smart Triggers, Transactional E-mails and integrations with Zapier, Zoom, Calendly, Hubspot.
  • Cons

  • Everything worked as I expected. There are some integrations I am missing, but those are coming in a future update.
  • I still find it difficult to understand how to enable sending AMP messages.

  • Customer.io has many customizable elements to make very complex or very simple email flows. I appreciate how easy it is to use even for someone who isn't as familiar with marketing strategies.
  • Easy-to-use and intuitive email and marketing automation platform. Especially the ability to send out webhooks makes it very strong.
  • Cons

  • Minimal pre-packaged layouts; layout design requires knowledge of CSS. Lack of workflow cloning or replication creates unnecessary work.
  • The only negative i could see is that the application only allows you to send 50 emails at a time and for a large customer base this makes it more time consuming.
