Ability to upload own HTML files and connecting with an SMTP makes it equally good enough as an email marketing tool. Ability to apply for AMP with Google directly from Mailmodo.

I did need to contact their customer support twice to get 121 help with using their API with general webhooks. Once we figured out how to get personalisation fields in, it worked fine.

Everything worked as I expected. There are some integrations I am missing, but those are coming in a future update.

Overall it's a good experience. The team is really helpful and is willing to do things to improve their customer's experience.

In general I would recommend the solution for the price and the functionality, my experience whas amazing with the support team even as a free user.

I still find it difficult to understand how to enable sending AMP messages.

Most of my emails are going to spam which I do not understand the reason for since it didn't happen on Mailchimp. I find it difficult to integrate my SMTP.

Minimal pre-packaged layouts; layout design requires knowledge of CSS. Lack of workflow cloning or replication creates unnecessary work.

There's a fine line between an eye-candy platform that scores low on customization and a fully fledged tool that requires constant support from a developer.

The two things that I use, their Newsletter builder and their Campaigns builder, they are splendid. The builder is clean and easy to use.

There are not many customization options. It is also limited to users that has large customer bases.

Perhaps its limited design options in some cases, but its automation is still high end.

IO's API to send out notification emails to our customers, I have a few things to say about its API. It is easy to use and predictable.

On top of it, customer support rocks. I was answered right away for every little question that came up, so I didn't feel alone while working to set everything to my requirements.

I liked that I could run my drip campaigns on this tool. The complexity of the drips could be managed.

The ability to view all emails that have been sent and to ensure they were received by the customer is a huge benefit to us.

The perfect platform to set up product-driven email communications with customers at scale.

The lack of a WYSIWYG editor for my marketing counterparts (tho I hear rumors this is coming) and event-based filters in my workflows.

The API is easy to use too, and makes it really easy to integrate with your app at a deep level. I couldn't imagine life without it.

The creating emails part does get tedious at times. The drag and drop builder isn't the easiest to use.
