### Secondary ratings

- Ease of use: 4.5/5
- Customer support: 4.7/5
- Value for money: 4.5/5
- Functionality: 4.4/5

### Rating distribution

- 5 stars: 352 reviews (72%)
- 4 stars: 103 reviews (21%)
- 3 stars: 20 reviews (4%)
- 2 stars: 5 reviews (1%)
- 1 star: 11 reviews (2%)

### Most mentioned pros

- It provides a well-organized platform for managing field service operations, from scheduling and dispatching to invoicing and customer communication.
- The ability to access customer information, update job details, and continue working without interruption helps maintain productivity and ensures critical data can be captured in the field and synchronized once connectivity is restored.
- I having estimates, schdeuling, customer history and Job update in one platform and QuickBooks integration saves time by reducing duplicate work and the mobile app keeps the field updated.

### Most mentioned cons

- Most critically, the Engage tool feels unstable and limited; the inability to forward calls to multiple people is a major bottleneck for our workflow. If this is intended to be a long-term solution alongside FieldPulse, these regional limitations and functional stability issues need to be addressed immediately.
- it makes it difficult when employees mess up their times or when i am looking for receipts from our suppliers who forgot to list our job # on their delivery for us.
- FP is targeted at service industry, Time & Material payment model. While you can defiantly use FP to run a remodeling and maintenance business, the platform's functions and features don't truly align with the standard construction project's lifecycle.

My all over experience is too much positive and good also as well as excellent also. it has mad it much easier to manage technician, plan service call and keep together in one place. The automated capabilities reduce human work and sales of the pipeline help us go from estimates to payments without unnecessary effort. Overall it has enhanced day to day operations for an appliance, electrical and electronics manufacturing business and has been good value for the investment.” It is really user friendly and has increased our productivity.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 4/5
- Value for money: 4/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

I'm a director of operation and i like how field keep our service work organized, but not too much complicated. Scheduling job is easy and my team is able too see updates in real time, which can improve collaboration between office staff and field technicians. workflow automation eliminates repetitive processes and saves time and the sales process becomes simplified when estimates and invoices are linked. I’m also comfortable with the security of consumer information, and the overall value for money has been wonderful for our firm.

#### Cons

Some of the more advance reports may use a bit more flexibility for operational review. had some trouble figuring out some of the automated options. The mobile app occasionally feel slower than handling huge job histories, and i would appreciate greater freedom in scheduling regular maintenance visits. Customer assistance is responsive but needs to be quicker at solving difficult issues.

#### Vendor response

Hi Nitya, hearing that real-time updates have improved collaboration between your office and field teams, and that linking estimates to invoices has made your sales process easier, means a lot to us. We look forward to continuing to support your team.

Overall FieldPulse has simplified a lot of dated processes in our business model, allowed us to be more efficient across all markets and is cost effective to our scaling company. I would recommend FieldPulse to anyone large or small, without hesitation.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

FieldPulse has allowed our growing company the flexibility to create service, installation and preparation work into one streamlined platform. It has also streamlined our ability to convert sales into jobs, and tracking of work. Bringing everything into one Platform has allowed our Sales Team and Project team to collaborate easier on jobs, simplifying the hardest parts of any project.

#### Cons

The backend inventory system can use some more fine tuning to allow a more simplified and robust receiving system for inventory management. It is a little clunky and only allows bulk receiving which adds a layer of convolution to receiving project related inventory.

#### Reasons for choosing FieldPulse

Cost Savings, simple use and easy to manage the little things

#### Reasons for switching to FieldPulse

Looking for a simplified platform from an aged process when taking over the business. Scheduling was done in Outlook Calendar, Sales done in QB Point of Sale, Quotes were done in Excel and POS.

#### Vendor response

Hi Kyle — really glad to hear FieldPulse has made it easier for your sales and project teams to stay aligned on jobs and manage service calls, installation projects, and preparation work all from one platform. We look forward to continuing to support your team as you scale.

### FieldPulse: A Positive Start and Strong Partnership

FieldPulse has been a positive experience thus far. Since I joined after the implementation phase, I was tasked with helping roll out and adopt the platform after it had already been introduced. Despite missing the initial setup process, I've found the transition to be smooth and the platform easy to work with. Working with [sensitive content hidden] has been extremely valuable throughout this process. She has been consistently supportive, responsive, and helpful whenever questions or challenges have arisen. Her guidance has played an important role in ensuring a positive experience with FieldPulse.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

One of FieldPulse's standout features is its offline capability. Unlike many competing CRM and field service management platforms, FieldPulse allows technicians and staff to continue working even when internet connectivity is unavailable. This is particularly valuable in rural Nova Scotia, where cellular and internet coverage can be inconsistent. The ability to access customer information, update job details, and continue working without interruption helps maintain productivity and ensures critical data can be captured in the field and synchronized once connectivity is restored.

#### Cons

I've only been using FieldPulse for a few weeks, so I don't feel I have enough experience with the platform to provide a fair and comprehensive assessment at this time. While my initial impressions have been positive, I would prefer to spend more time using the system before offering detailed feedback in this area.

#### Reasons for switching to FieldPulse

We made the switch to FieldPulse from a similar platform that was not meeting our operational needs, particularly due to its lack of reliable offline capabilities. Given that our team frequently works in rural areas of Nova Scotia where internet connectivity can be inconsistent, offline functionality is essential. FieldPulse's ability to continue operating without a connection has been a significant advantage and was a key factor in our decision to transition to the platform.

#### Vendor response

Hi Marci, really glad the transition has felt smooth. The offline capability was designed with teams like yours in mind, working in rural areas where connectivity can't always be counted on. We'll pass your kind words along and we're glad to have you with us.

Software has lots of good features and rather intuitive to explore and learn. There is always a learning curve with new software. Everyone at FieldPulse is super nice and has been helpful thru everything.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

Has the ability to calculate item cost using measurements such as square feet. Built in payment platform available to process ACH and card payments. Automatically syncs with QuickBooks online. There is a lot of customization you can set up to eliminate/automate tedious tasks or make routines that are consistent. So grateful it will warn you if you go to leave something that you have not saved yet.

#### Cons

Onboarding training needs to be tailored to customer better. The math calculations are part of the price book component and we did not cover the price book portion of training until there were only a couple training sessions left. Would have been nicer to at least get us started on the price book component earlier because there is quite a bit to creating and setting it up. Our account "go to" person and tech support helped us with price book component after the onboarding training ended. Tech support is responsive and so far has been able to help us resolve issues.

#### Reasons for switching to FieldPulse

The ability of the software to do Square foot and United inch calculations for item costs.

#### Vendor response

Hi Carol — thank you for sharing this. We are happy to hear that QuickBooks Online sync and the customization options have been useful for your team.

Emily Scherer has always been great to work with and is very responsive to my questions. Whenever I need anything, she emails me back promptly.

#### Cons

I haven't found any that I don't like yet. The software seems to be very solid. I'm sure there are some quirks that we have had to work around, but that is no different than any other program.

#### Reasons for choosing FieldPulse

Inventory management that could be tracked per vehicle.

#### Reasons for switching to FieldPulse

Cost was a huge factor for our company. The other reason was a lack of support.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

I love FieldPulse, their customer support is phenomenal, I’ve used house called pro, jobber, and QuickBooks scheduling and by far FieldPulse is the best. I would say my favorite thing is probably the workflow automation, for our techs in the field, it makes it very clear on what their next steps are, and I also love that as an administrator, I can customize this workflow to meet my business needs.

#### Cons

There are lots of add-ons, which is nice, but it gets really pricey if I was to truly want everything that I think I need

#### Reasons for switching to FieldPulse

I wanted to try out the software because it sounded like a big upgrade from what I was previously using

#### Vendor response

We are generally happy with the product but have not been impressed with the customer service following implementation. The representatives are often unprepared for the meetings, do not have a sense of what we covered during the last meeting, and are unlikely to follow up on questions we had from the previous meetings without prompting. We expected more continuity for the cost of the additional service.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 4/5
- Value for money: 3/5
- Customer support: 3/5

#### Pros

The ease with which we can view project and job progress as well as schedule work for technicians on an easy-to-use calendar are our favorite features.

#### Cons

Paying for custom forms that do not allow us to attach them to estimates to be sent for signature is frustrating. It is also disappointing that technicians cannot clock into site visits and have these hours calculated under the corresponding job.

#### Reasons for choosing FieldPulse

specific dispatch features, time sheet tracking

#### Vendor response

Hi Emily, happy to hear you're enjoying our scheduling features, and that the visibility into job status has been great for keeping your team on track. We're sorry to hear customer service hasn't met that same bar. ### Well-rounded Software

- Reviewed: April 2026

Very pleased. It's not 'custom-created software', but we can't afford that. I'm very pleased with how customizable it IS, however. I found it to be a large learning curve, but the customer support has been sufficient to get us up and running and now that we've been using Field Pulse for 18 months, I rarely need support and using it is smooth.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 4/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

FieldPulse is capable of covering a huge range of needs for any service-based business. Client database, item database, quote management, invoicing, automated client connections, and more. The reason we left our previous software was that it didn't provide a platform for our clients to easily view our quotes/invoices on mobile devices (which is what 90% of our clients use!). Additionally, although we still prefer Quickbooks for large-scale accounting purposes, it is very convenient for our clients to be able to make payments right on the same (FieldPulse) link where they view their quote or invoice.

#### Cons

We still haven't quite been able to successfully sync FieldPulse with Quickbooks Online, mostly because of over a decade of pre-existing Client Lists from 2 different sources.

#### Reasons for choosing FieldPulse

Only FieldPulse was able to provide ALL the functions we needed.

#### Reasons for switching to FieldPulse

Cost and needed more functionality. UDA did not have ability for client to sign, payment processing, or mobile-device views for client-facing documents.

#### Vendor response

Hi Jessica — it means a lot to our team to hear that we were able to support you as you got up and running on FieldPulse. We're glad you're enjoying the customization options and that FieldPulse is able to support your business needs.

#### Pros

Fieldpulse is great for my small residential service business, we do HVAC, electrical and plumbing work with a few customers that we do everything home repair related. Fieldpulse is versatile and customizable to fit the needs of our most niche customers. I love the cost per month and I don't have to worry about switching to a new platform in 3 to 5 years, they have features that I'm confident are scalable when we reach 8 to 10 trucks on the road.

#### Cons

sometimes the weeks start on Monday and sometimes they start on Sunday when creating a schedule. learning curve for all the features are pretty steep

#### Reasons for switching to FieldPulse

needed scheduling capability, no customer support in invoice simple

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 4/5

#### Pros

it is pretty easy to use. Self explanatory. It is so much better than what we were using before and it's able to hold a lot more information.

#### Cons

It seems to be slow moving recently and this causes a lot of frustration when trying to complete information on our jobs. I don't like that you have to exit out of job by back arrow until you get to a job again after moving from that screen.

#### Reasons for choosing FieldPulse

it seemed to best meet our needs. We could put all of our data into the system we were keeping in a google document file

#### Reasons for switching to FieldPulse

It did not meet our needs. It did not allow us to put all of the information we need on a daily basis into this system

#### Vendor response

FieldPulse has allowed us to better track and maintain our field services for less monthly costs than our old software. The constant updates and added features means that any concerns that I currently have I know will be addressed. Overall we are glad to have switched to FieldPulse.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 4/5

#### Pros

Features. FieldPulse has a ton of features and plugins that are incredibly useful for a company like mine. FieldPulse Payments has been a positive experience for our customers adding the convenience of immediate pay to our invoices. The scheduling tools have been key for keeping our teams working together from sales to field services all the way to accounting.

#### Cons

Moving from Estimates to Jobs to Invoices still feels a bit disjointed. Information between these categories could use some engineering work to avoid having to constantly copy and paste information between these crucial steps of every project.

#### Reasons for choosing FieldPulse

FieldPulse had all of these features and more presented in a way that worked better for us.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 4/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

I really like how easy it is to work with. I really appreciate all the integrations it has to our other systems as well. It works great with zapier, quickbooks, etc. Makes our service management run very smoothly.

#### Cons

I wish the calendar function would work better with our oncall schedule. It would be super helpful to be able to integrate the on-call schedules of all our field techs within fieldpulse and then be able to pull from that in some way. We have to manage that schedule external to fieldpulse though.

#### Reasons for choosing FieldPulse

Fieldpulse was a much easier system to deploy and use than Odoo. Odoo seems to be a very powerful software, but has a high maintenance effort to run and deploy. Upkeep had a super super strong inventory system, but could not handle field service management. Fieldpulse was easy to set up, learn, adopt to our business, and had the features we needed.

#### Vendor response

Hi Grant — really glad the Zapier and QuickBooks integrations have been working well for your team and that you've found the platform easy to use.

Team work and a "we can" attitude from everyone I have dealt with on the FP team from management down to chat room. Very positive experience and excited to scale with Field Pulse at our core.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

Field Pulse Customer support and customization is really what sets them apart from other trade software platforms. Not just there to tell you where to look for an answer to a question but in some cases actually just took care of the issue. Its as if you gain employees to YOUR business not just paying to use software

#### Cons

Honestly the only thing I have found that was not great was some manual entry for locations under a parent account but there are always going to be manual entries, having gone through several CRM migrations this is a small pain and was expected.

#### Reasons for choosing FieldPulse

The culture of Field Pulse is customization and dialing in what works for your business and not bending your process to fit a structure already in place.

#### Reasons for switching to FieldPulse

Inventory is not in house call pro. It required a plug in which just adds steps that field pulse eliminated

#### Vendor response

Cole, thank you so much for the review! We’re really glad to hear our support team and customization options have made such a positive impact for you. We also appreciate your feedback on manual entry. We’re excited to keep supporting your team!

Very satisfied overall as a customer relationship management software. Proposals and estimates can be sent and approved, invoices can be paid directly via a phone or computer and payments are all tracked in the software.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 4/5
- Value for money: 4/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

Great customer service and recurring billing/templates. The ability to include photos and videos in jobs is very good feature. Scheduling and the notifications the customer gets are automated and the ability to give customers job reports with pictures is a bonus.

#### Cons

Some of the functions are not very intuitive and don't make sense in the work flow of a customer service company. I think that automated reports should be able to be generated based off things done or not done on job (notes/pictures/status) Once you understand how the software works and change your processes to work with the software it works very well.

#### Reasons for choosing FieldPulse

Better review and support metrics were given on all review sites I found

#### Vendor response

We’re glad to hear FieldPulse has been helpful for your team in managing estimates, invoicing, payments, and customer communication. We also appreciate your feedback on workflow and reporting. Thanks for taking the time to share your experience, Larry!

#### Pros

It completely centralizes our operations. What I like most is how easy it is to schedule shifts, assign tasks on the fly, and track team members in real-time through the mobile app. It has eliminated a massive amount of daily paperwork and keeps everyone on the same page.

#### Cons

There is a bit of a learning curve at the beginning because of how many features it has, which can overwhelm the team at first. Also, the mobile app can occasionally feel a little slow or heavy if the internet connection isn't perfect.

Hi Gopi, cutting out the daily paperwork and back-and-forth calls is a big win for any field team. Really glad it's making a difference. Thanks for sharing this.

### Centralized Scheduling and Status Tracking That Brought Order to Our Plant Field Operations

At India Glycols Limited, managing field tasks, equipment work orders, and team coordination across multiple plant sections previously relied on a mix of verbal updates, printed sheets, and informal messaging. FieldPulse replaced that scattered approach with a structured, centralized system. The scheduling and real-time status tracking features delivered the most immediate value I could assign, monitor, and follow up on tasks from a single dashboard without chasing updates manually. The mobile app made this practical even while physically moving around the facility. The platform is clearly built with scalability in mind, which means some features feel more comprehensive than my current needs require. For larger teams managing complex field operations it would deliver excellent value. For smaller-scale internal use the pricing requires careful consideration. Overall it is a capable and reliable field service management tool that brought measurable structure to how I handle operational coordination at India Glycols Limited.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 4/5
- Customer support: 4/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

As a Junior Engineer at India Glycols Limited, tracking field tasks, work orders, and team assignments across different plant sections has always been a coordination challenge. FieldPulse addressed this directly through its centralized dashboard that brings scheduling, task management, and status tracking into one accessible place. What stood out most was the scheduling and job management system. Being able to assign tasks to the right team member, set timelines, and monitor progress without switching between spreadsheets and messaging apps made a noticeable difference in how organized our field operations felt. The status tracking feature kept me updated on which tasks were completed, pending, or delayed without needing to physically follow up with every person involved. The mobile app is a genuine strength. Accessing job details, updating task status, and checking assignments from my phone while moving between plant sections meant I was not dependent on being at my desk to stay informed. The interface on mobile is clean and functional without feeling stripped down compared to the desktop version. The CRM and client management tools are also well designed for maintaining records and tracking service history, which is useful when managing recurring maintenance tasks and equipment-related work orders at an industrial facility.

#### Cons

The pricing is the most significant concern for someone in my position. FieldPulse is primarily built for growing field service businesses, and its pricing reflects that target audience. As a Junior Engineer using it for internal operational coordination rather than a full commercial field service operation, the cost feels disproportionate to my scale of use. The workflow between job stages moving from work orders to task completion to reporting feels slightly disjointed in certain areas. Information does not always carry over seamlessly between stages, requiring manual re-entry that adds unnecessary steps to an otherwise efficient process. The initial setup and configuration also takes more time than expected. While the interface is clean, understanding how to set up custom workflows, permissions, and team structures for the first time requires patience and exploration without strong in-app guidance for new users.

#### Vendor response

Hi Ghanshyam — thanks for taking the time to share this. Really glad the scheduling, status tracking, and mobile app have been making day-to-day coordination feel more manageable.

I would give our overall experience as good. Jacob L is one of the nicer support individuals I have encountered. The support is normally always great! Price can be better; syncing can be better. The flexibility has changed so bravo there. I will be changing service once my contract is up.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 1/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

I have everything is in one place. My customers, invoices, estimates, reports, timesheets, team members, and schedule.

#### Cons

I have had issues with price, flexibility in changing my setup. I find this CRM more expensive than competing companies. And the estimates can't be e-signed. I don't know when a customer has opened our quotes/invoices with another CRM I can. Also, no contract that is another big one. The other company we are switching too has no contracts.

#### Vendor response

Aaron, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are glad to hear you had a positive experience with Jacob. We also appreciate your honesty around pricing, flexibility, and syncing. Feedback like this is important for us to hear and helps us continue improving the platform.
