It’s been great. A few rough bumps figuring things out, but mostly smooth. My wife and I both use it, she manages the schedule and I’m in the field. I don’t know what I would do without it. Iv looked at and used other services and they just aren’t worth the money. I was very hesitant to spend the money on FieldPulse, but I’m very glad I did.

Pros:

We really like the Field Pulse system. It’s easy to use, it keeps me organized and is really able to fit any business and any business size.

Cons:

Honestly, the price. There’s no way around it, it’s not cheap. But neither am I. I can’t expect my customers to spend more money on quality if I’m not willing to do the same. Is it expensive? Yes. Is it worth the expense? Absolutely.

They sucked. That’s the only way I can say it. They charged a lot and way under delivered. They made it difficult to operate and function and they didn’t make it feel like they really wanted our company to do well. FieldPulse was different.

it is pretty easy to use. Self explanatory. It is so much better than what we were using before and it's able to hold a lot more information.

Cons:

It seems to be slow moving recently and this causes a lot of frustration when trying to complete information on our jobs. I don't like that you have to exit out of job by back arrow until you get to a job again after moving from that screen.

Migrating to FieldPulse 4 years ago has been the best decision I have ever made as a business owner, and I have never looked back. My process is customized to the centimeter because of how flexible the app is and how easy it is to use. Fieldpulse has quickly become the core of our business processes

Fieldpulse completely improved our process and operations. After struggling with many different software options, Fieldpulse had a solution for all our needs. From Technician management, to project management, Job Scheduling, Estimating, and Invoicing, the sales process became so easy that their technical support is very good and always improving the system with new features and updates.

Cons:

The only issue with Fieldpuse, I would say, is the pricing. They have a base fee and a per-user fee, which can quickly add up if you have multiple users, as we do. This can become challenging for a small business.

FieldPulse has been a positive experience thus far. Since I joined after the implementation phase, I was tasked with helping roll out and adopt the platform after it had already been introduced. Despite missing the initial setup process, I've found the transition to be smooth and the platform easy to work with. Working with \[sensitive content hidden\] has been extremely valuable throughout this process. She has been consistently supportive, responsive, and helpful whenever questions or challenges have arisen. Her guidance has played an important role in ensuring a positive experience with FieldPulse.

One of FieldPulse's standout features is its offline capability. Unlike many competing CRM and field service management platforms, FieldPulse allows technicians and staff to continue working even when internet connectivity is unavailable. This is particularly valuable in rural Nova Scotia, where cellular and internet coverage can be inconsistent. The ability to access customer information, update job details, and continue working without interruption helps maintain productivity and ensures critical data can be captured in the field and synchronized once connectivity is restored.

Cons:

I've only been using FieldPulse for a few weeks, so I don't feel I have enough experience with the platform to provide a fair and comprehensive assessment at this time. While my initial impressions have been positive, I would prefer to spend more time using the system before offering detailed feedback in this area.

We made the switch to FieldPulse from a similar platform that was not meeting our operational needs, particularly due to its lack of reliable offline capabilities. Given that our team frequently works in rural areas of Nova Scotia where internet connectivity can be inconsistent, offline functionality is essential. FieldPulse's ability to continue operating without a connection has been a significant advantage and was a key factor in our decision to transition to the platform.

Everything you want in a FSM software at a great price

Took the pain out of switching from a more complicated and expensive software. Easy onboarding, field team loves how intuitive it is. Just feels modern and intuitive rather than the SAP database feel of larger competitors.

Pros:

Super easy for both office and field staff. It functions much more intuitively than other larger competitors' software I've also used. Scheduling jobs is easy and the conflicts / auto schedule features are great. My customers like the online booking, and whenever I have a question the support actually get things sorted out rather than just submitting a ticket into a black box. My onboarding specialist was fantastic and helped me think through how to transition as much data as possible from my old system.

Cons:

There is a gap in terms of information tracking vs the biggest players in the space. I'd like to be able to report more easily on job types. Most of this can be done with tags, but tags get messy and really the only one that does it with full functionality is ServiceTitan...but the tradeoff is definitely worth it in terms of value for money.

FieldPulse was better for a growing business that was already beyond the first FSM instance.

Reasons for switching to FieldPulse

Pricing got way out of hand. And more and more useful functionality was only available as add-on Pro products.

We have been using Fieldpulse for over a year now, and it has been a great improvement over the last software system we used. As mentioned in the "Pros" section, Fieldpulse covers all of our company's business needs in one package. I especially want to highlight their customer support team. No software is perfect- occasionally we run into bugs, or have questions about how to do something. Their customer support chat team is always prompt and helpful. In particular, shout out to \[sensitive content hidden\] I., who I've worked with several times and has always been able to get me the answers I need quickly. I'm usually able to get my problem resolved within minutes. In cases where it's a legitimate technical problem, they elevate the question to their tech support team, who has also been great to work with. They follow up regularly via email until the problem has been resolved.

Powerful software that is both flexible & customizable. Excellent customer support Continually developing the software and adding features Meets all of our companies needs when it comes to CRM, bidding & invoicing, processing payments, scheduling, ordering, inventory, and etc - all in one package.

Cons:

Sometimes glitchy (usually resolved relatively quickly). I wish it had more options for automated communications, both externally and internally. Purchase order system needs some improvements (which I'm told are in the works).

Very pleased. It's not 'custom-created software', but we can't afford that. I'm very pleased with how customizable it IS, however. I found it to be a large learning curve, but the customer support has been sufficient to get us up and running and now that we've been using Field Pulse for 18 months, I rarely need support and using it is smooth.

Pros:

FieldPulse is capable of covering a huge range of needs for any service-based business. Client database, item database, quote management, invoicing, automated client connections, and more. The reason we left our previous software was that it didn't provide a platform for our clients to easily view our quotes/invoices on mobile devices (which is what 90% of our clients use!). Additionally, although we still prefer Quickbooks for large-scale accounting purposes, it is very convenient for our clients to be able to make payments right on the same (FieldPulse) link where they view their quote or invoice.

Cons:

We still haven't quite been able to successfully sync FieldPulse with Quickbooks Online, mostly because of over a decade of pre-existing Client Lists from 2 different sources.

Only FieldPulse was able to provide ALL the functions we needed.

Reasons for switching to FieldPulse

Cost and needed more functionality. UDA did not have ability for client to sign, payment processing, or mobile-device views for client-facing documents.

I like the how easy it is to build estimates, convert to invoices, and collect payment all in the same platform

Cons:

My only complaint about FieldPulse is that I wish it was tied directly in with my distributor so I could have automatic price updates.

FieldPulse gave me the most bang for my buck at the time and being a solo contractor were the only ones willing to work with me.
