Housecall Pro is a cloud-based field service management app for service professionals to automate their workflows. This solution includes a native mobile app and complementary web portal and serves a wide range of industries, such as cleaning, plumbing, electrical, HVAC and more.

Housecall Pro allows companies to forego paperwork in favor of digital automation. It offers features such as job scheduling, dispatching, payment processing, estimates, automated receipts and invoices, customer notifications, company chat, as well as postcard and email marketing automation.

Customers can book services via the HouseCall mobile app, communicate through a centralized messaging system and make online payments.

The mobile app can be accessed on both Android and iOS devices. There is a free version for single owner/operators, which offers many of the core features of the paid version. Premium pricing is based on the number of users, and an enterprise license is also available.

This solution is available across the U.S. and Canada.

Outstanding Product

Pros

This app is perfect for our small HVAC business. We went from paper invoices to using HouseCallPro, and WOW, what a difference this move has made. Housecallpro really allowed us to streamline our dispatching, and our customers always make remarks that they live feeling like they are connected to us. Great Product!! Highly recommend using HouseCallPro.

Cons

Haven’t ran into any problems so far. The app is really easy to use once you go through the tutorials.

Great At A Lot!

Pretty please as of now!

Pros

1st its super easy to use and it does so much. Scheduling, Fast Credit Card Processing, Automations, Post Cards, On My Way Notifications.

Cons

It still does not have encrypted Credit Card Functions so we have to input credit card information constantly.

What I’ve been waiting for

Pros

I’ve been waiting for a software like this for many years. For eight years, I have been running a dog hiking business, and I used to have to manually add up the dates hiked, and create an invoice with the number of hikes, the dates, and manually enter a thank you note. I would accept payment through cash, check, Venmo, etc. and people were often late, it required all sorts of time/energy/follow up. Now I just manage a calendar, which is much easier and intuitive in my opinion than Google calendar, and HouseCall Pro adds up the dates, automatically sends the invoices every 4 weeks, and accepts balance transfers with a 1% fee. Oh my goodness, for me, this is very worth it, it makes me happy just looking at the app. I’ve been playing with it like it’s a video game. I learned that it was mainly talented software engineers that started the business, and it shows – the product speaks for itself. It also clarifies my thinking and frees up my time, I feel like it more of a business owner now.

Cons

It easy/quick customer support but the ease of use and the quality of the actual product far make up for it. I would prefer they focus on that than customer support.

No real problem solved as yet but still exploring.

Pros

Easy to use, credit card processing, customer display, many additional apps to choose from, almost instant cheap 24/7

Cons

As of yet I haven't found anything I don't like. Maybe the discomfort I'm going to experience leaving my previous software on line provider for scheduling. I love the software but Housepro is better.

Great CRM

Pretty good, but because we can't connect to some of our other software we ended up switching to another CRM.

It is really easy to use, on the app and desktop.

An "Up and Coming" Service/Product

This product is very lovely to have and we want to see it improve to continue using it going forward.

Pros

This software makes me look professional in front of my clients, and I like to think of it as my little 'Assitant' with how handy it is when scheduling client appointments.

Cons

Some of the tutorials can be a bit long-winded when I need quick reference material, we experience some glitches at times, and it looks like they're in the earlier stages of 'perfecting' the product. It can be a bit confusing to use at times.

Love Housecall Pro

The overall experience is very positive, It keeps the calls for service, Maintenance, and install jobs on track and progress visible to all involve in multi-day jobs so everyone is always on the same page. The managing of bills and money is very helpful.
