Great software that has really helped us take our remediation business to the next level.
HousecallPro has helped us take our business to the next level and makes dispatching, estimating, and bookkeeping much easier. I've used other competitive products in the past, but nothing has come close to the features of HousecallPro.
PROSPrice list flexibility, automated emails, estimate approvals and invoicing, and dispatching to make sure everyone's on the same page.
CONSThe automated emails should absolutely be tied to job tags, but because they're tied to customer tags, we have to add and remove them vigilantly if we have repeat customers with multiple properties or different service needs. I wish the estimate approval process was more of an eSignature process as opposed to any party just clicking a button.
Reasons for switching to Housecall Pro
mHelpDesk's only benefit was the integration with HomeAdvisor. But otherwise it was garbage by comparison.

HouseCall Pro
I love that I can do almost everything with this software. It has helped our company grow and I love that we are able to grow with HouseCall Pro.
CONSI would really like to have inventory management available and I do not like working with Stripe for the payment processing. I am however, glad that they are starting to allow payroll though.

Because HouseCall Pro has more features available that I needed to be able to utilize such as maintenance plans and GPS tracking.

False advertising review
I only experienced being mislead thinking I was applying for job opportunities and when I finished applying and giving my personal information I was informed they didn't have job opportunities in the area I lived in but I can be placed on a future wait-list .
PROSI didn't like anything about Housepro because I signed up to use the app because I read it helps people earn extra income . I signed up on the app giving them imy mportant information just for them to tell. Me they don't have anything listed in my area

PROSThe most impactful features of Housecall Pro include its ability to manage clients, book appointments, accept payments, schedule jobs, and automate customer notifications. It also offers a unified platform for managing customer data, employee productivity, and financial records. Housecall Pro is designed to be user-friendly, and its intuitive interface makes it easy to learn and understand. The product also offers a range of tutorials and support documents to help users get up and running quickly. Integrating Housecall Pro with existing business processes is easy. The product supports integrations with popular accounting, CRM, and POS systems, as well as with Zapier for connecting with custom systems.
CONSThere are a few features that I feel could be improved or added to Housecall Pro. One of these is the ability to connect Housecall Pro with other software programs, such as QuickBooks or other accounting programs. This would be a great way to streamline the invoicing and payment processes, as well as make it easier to keep track of customer information. Additionally, I think the mobile app needs some work, as it is not very intuitive or user-friendly. The integration with existing business processes can be difficult. Housecall Pro doesn’t always recognize existing customer information, so you may need to manually enter a customer’s details into the system. Additionally, the invoicing process can be confusing and time consuming.

It's relatively easy to use. I can schedule an estimate, then convert it to a job once approved, send the invoice and even take payments through the website/app
CONSThe online scheduling option seems like it could be a good feature, but our company doesn't use it much and the times we have used it, the emails just got lost or customers selected the wrong responses which led to confusion. Scheduling a job that takes multiple days is also a bit of a nuisance. We switched from Jobber, and they were so easy to schedule a multiple day job.
Reasons for switching to Housecall Pro
Jobber was lacking some features that HCP had. Jobber also had some good features that HCP does not. In the end, the pros outweighed the cons and we made the switch.
