Edsby offers a very successful communication tool to schools. Edsby links, Administrators, Teachers, Students and Parents with day to day knowledge of the academic and personal progress of students.

I mainly use Edsby for it's gradebook and report card features. I find it very easy to work with and like to it auto-saves information that is input.

The customer support is fantastic. The product is NOT fantastic.

What I like most about Edsby is the ease of use for teachers and students.

Even though Edsby has a file management system, I can easily integrate Google Drive and other tools within it.

Good features, mostly intuitive and easy to use. Mostly timely and responsive customer service.

It is easy to use and yet has depth which allows our savvy teachers to continue to discover and share features.

The best part about Edsby is all the amazing features it includes.

Edsby allows us to centralize all learning-related communication into one management system quite effectively.

Great investment and a robust tool. Easy to use for the social media savvy.

What I liked least was how often the site would crash. It was very hard to use because it loaded when it wanted to.

I love the fact that I can have students write a self-correcting quiz that automatically shows up in the Gradebook module.

Generally intuitive and clear. Student and parent contact info is easy to find.

And there are NO UNDO options. On many screens where an information bubble pops up - it remains there no matter what is clicked on and you have to reload the page to make it go away.

I would highly recommend this tool to other schools for its features and ease of use.

I like the features that allow me and my students to communicate feedback and check progress of activiites.

Edsby has benefited our school community in that it's a great communication tool.

I enjoy the way a class is organized in different subjects and how teachers can be co-administrators.

Strong communication tool for our kids/teachers. During Covid-19, this has been especially helpful.

The concept is wonderful if it could be executed correctly. It did the job for a few months but we had to change programs to save both teachers and parents sanity.

I have to delete auto-posted files from the feed that end up in the library otherwise it will become quickly over-run, confusing and ineffective as a communicative tool.

If students or teachers are registered for multiple classes, there is no way to pin, prioritize or re-organize the order of classes, either for yourself or for your students.

Designed with Ontario curriculum in mind which makes it more responsive to our local needs. It is  user friendly and parents seem to enjoy the communication options.

This reduces the costs of time and resources of the front office staff of looking up the student's data / progress and keeping paper copies of records for years beyond.

I like that I am able to create curriculum and save it to assign to classes later on.

Getting notifications about student work are very convenient. Being able to communicate with any of the tech help is great and they are very good about answering questions and addressing concerns.

Very good, friendly and helpful. Tech support is usually quick to respond.

Kiddom is easy to understand and intuitive for teachers and students to navigate.

Overall, my experience has been decent. It hasn't been the best, but there was huge learning curve at the start.

At times the work submitted and lesson plans would disappear. Students had difficulty using it on mobile devices and navigating it overall which then gave them the excuse just to not do the work.

It is especially difficult to know when students turn in late assignments.

The best features are the ability to embed and the online support.

All directions have to be at the top unless you cheat and put directions in a question box. It's frankly infuriating.

I love how it integrates to Clever. Once the kids have gotten used to it, it puts all of their assignments in one place.

Unable or very difficult to share activities or units with other teachers in my building.

Unable for students to physically / visually manipulate activities within kiddom (for example, drag and drop features available to students on google slides via google classroom).

Inability to print a lesson activity for someone who needs a hard copy (limited or no internet). Inability to duplicate a lesson, then tweak it for a different unit.

I like the look of the software and website, and the fact that it integrates with our student attendance/information system. I like that you can list lessons by days and title them appropriately.

Another con is the lagging that seems to happen within the app. I will create a question or a text box and when I click out of the box, all of the words disappear and I have to redo the entire thing.

Features are being constantly upgraded in response to needs. It has great potential with the better features being added.

The communication methods between teachers and students are terrible. There's no easy way to view a students comment.

I like that my students who are remote learning have the same assignments as the in person students. It's nice that I don't have to re-create the assignment myself and they are easy to grade.

There are also some linked resources (primarily from CK-12) that don't work well. Could use a way to integrate questions/responses, grading, and link embedding directly into assignments.

I hate how to have to click a subject, and then assignment, and then scroll through to see who turned things in.

Embed options for video and Nearpods are a great tool. The online chat has always been responsive and will email you back every time.

Very user friendly for students and helps to deliver quality content much more easily than other online platforms.

I have had some questions along the way, and the support staff has been fantastic to jump in and help immediately.

The timeline feature is tricky. Many of my students have a hard time finding assignments here because it jumbles up the order.

I like that students have a timeline to easy access their assignments for the week. I love the new added feature where students can type a comment to me in the assignment.

I am limited with what I can have my students do within Kiddom.

I also cannot see the date that they turned it in. This is my biggest complaint.

Easy to use very good for my students help my students.

The timeline feature is awesome because it helps the students and I keep track of what we are supposed to be doing.
