Bomgar is a cloud-based or on-premise secure access and remote support solution suitable for businesses of all sizes. It offers remote support, privileged access and vault modules within a suite. Key features include customer support, help desk administration, internal IT support, collaboration, monitoring and auditing.

The privileged access module allows users to create accounts and monitor and record sessions in real time. Users can set up a secure remote connection to view and control remote desktops, network devices and servers. Other features include session forensics for compliance, cloud infrastructure management, authorization, notifications and credentials management.

The vault module is an enterprise password manager that enables users to store passwords, find privileged credentials and share admin passwords. Bomgar offers integrations with HP ArcSight, Lieberman Software, ServiceNow, Splunk and more.

It is available for purchase with a monthly subscription. Support is offered via live chat, phone, online guides, video tutorials and emails.

Cons

In my opinion, the system is very good. It fully meets our requirements and works very well. I believe that the manufacturer can only improve licensing models

Bomgar is a very good software, it has too many excellent and lucrative functions that complement very well the long distance remote connection, the only factor that affects are the prices but I trust that at some point the plans for a better accessibility will decrease. Bomgar has helped me a lot in business, since I can connect with my employees to provide support and other things.

Pros

The best thing about Bomgar is the speed of its connection, it can be anywhere in the world, in any country, and in the same way, provide a support with a fast connection and without connection drops, the stability in this software is the factor that has given you the most life.

Cons

I do not like that Bomgar has high prices, since the intention of this software is to help connect from any place or device and give distant support, but the prices of the plans do not allow accessibility, if the mission is help, I would like lower the prices so high.

It allows use to handle remote access and do it without troubling the user, it allows us not to require knowledge of the user password

Cons

Product is pricey for the small to mid size shop, the need to touch each device for installation takes a lot of coordination for remote users

Like that you can see multiple connections while logged on ; not only end users, but other support staff available.

Cons

don't use this on a daily basis and seems that every time I do log in, there is some credentail issue or update required. Just slows the process.

Allow me to connect in a safe way to any device from anywhere without affecting the performance of the device to wich one is connected.

Pros

One of the things I like most about Bomgar is the speed of the connections, regardless of the device I'm using and I can access it remotely and securely, wheter it's a PC or a mobile device and it's compatible with multiples platforms.

Cons

Prices, if the intention is to help connect from anywhere and give remote support, prices do not allow this accessibility, additionally for each installation in each device requires a lot of coordination for remote users.

Cons

some admin support is required for initial setup; a plugin to Skype for Business would be nice since having another tool run on a user desktop captures resources that could be used elsewhere.

Easy to access others machines. I can send files easily, take screenshots, and chat with clients over the software.

Cons

Sometimes the client doesn't exactly understand the setup process, or it doesn't go smoothly. Or when firewalls are in place that are too strict to allow access.

Does an overall great job for connecting to a computer and being able to troubleshoot the issues.

Get the job done, very little lag and has a few nice features like the ability to run a script and remember past connection.

Cons

I think they can expand on the integration between ad and scanning mass amounts of machines for information like os, specs, software etc.

I can be connected with the IT team and they can fix any problem that I could ave without doing anything.

Pros

It is super easy to connect with the other person. It is great that the other person can take control over the computer, because it was complicated to follow the instructions when it was a complicated activity.

Cons

It does not work on Apple devices. Also sometimes I can experience random disconnections, but besides that I do not have any other complaint.

Easily remote into someone's computer to help them with issues All they need is a code from you after you tell them to go to your web portal. They have a simple plugin to install and then you see their invitation to control their computer. Pretty simple

Cons

Sometimes needs admin rights to really help people in an enterprise environment. Software is a little clunky at first but you get the hang of it quickly.

I liked the ability of the customer support person to be able to basically take control of my computer and show me how to run the programing while I talked to them in real time. No need to leave my office to go somewhere for support.
