MEDsys offers a suite of applications that cater to the home health industry. The solution is cloud-based and supports Medicare, Pediatrics, Private Pay-skilled and unskilled, Medicaid and Staffing. It allows users to access patient information in real time through mobile devices. The solution provides features to manage point of care, electronic billing, scheduling, accounting, human resources and customer management.

Employees can have their own personal home page with workflows to improve performance and an electronic visit verification with real-time alerts and care plan compliance. Scorecards for all positions provide teams with company expectations and creating opportunities to reward with consistent and quantifiable measurements. The proprietary forms engine allows forms to be developed and embedded in the patients’ chart. All data elements can be extracted to create an alert, warning or documentation action.

The solution is suitable for home health, private duty, franchise and therapy organizations. Support is provided via phone, email and a support ticket.

    Can't track employees with GPS

    The benefits of confirming all the visits of my clients and being able to bill due to the transmissions of the visits.

    Pros

    Is easy to use, let us edit the raw duration of the calls, prints almost every report we need and the best is that is completely free.

    Cons

    Wont let us print a report of all the reason codes we've been using and we would like to have that option.

    The broad spectrum capabilities and potential of scheduling, billing, timekeeping, form management, etc.

    Cons

    The flexibility and the time length certain requests have taken to come to fruition. There have been several internal issues causing HIPAA violations.

    The only negative is that some of the planned features are not up and running yet, but I knew this before purchased, and they were honest about timeframes and rollouts regarding the enhancements.
