Easy to Use HRIS
I love Bamboo! Very happy with it, and excited to see what the future holds.
PROSThe product is very easy to use. The customer support is incredible. The system is aesthetically pleasing. Bamboo listens to feedback and is always updating and releasing new features based on customer feedback.
CONSSome features are not the most robust. Time tracking and reporting specifically. Bamboo does not have built-in scheduling. The employee notes feature could be more like applicant notes (replies, attachments, email notifications).

Great for startups
I like the platform very much. The customer service is somewhat difficult to reach and they take about 2 business days to respond or sometimes more. So that part is not great,
PROSIt is a very comprehensive product if you are a startup and have a lean or no HR team. It makes onboarding and employee management quite easy. Also, the full calendar is a nice feature. As leave is booked, you can see a monthly calendar at everyone who is out of the office, work anniversaries, etc. Very useful!
CONSSince it can't handle global/international payroll - it is very manual to update the payroll the system and bamboo one at a time. It is very manual and eventually will not be too scalable. Not sure how we are going to deal with it eventually, but for now it suits us!

Easier and faster to deploy. For 30 people on our team, we pay about $700 CAD. This doesn't include payroll but does include the Hiring module

The Recommended Go-to Platform for Businesses
Through this platform, I am able to know what is happening to my business. If I am making progress or experiencing shortfalls. Also, my business has seen some level of seriousness since this system was implemented. Overall, I will say it is a great platform
PROSBambooHR has some great integrations. For example, the platform allows me to know when my co-workers are out of the office or even celebrating a birthday.By far, Bamboo is a great platform.
CONSOne time, i had some challenges and I needed customer support, but the response was a bit late. I don't really know if it's still like that. But I still got the help I needed.

I found their BambooHR platform quite easy to navigate even before I started using it. Again, I watched a YouTube video for better understanding, before using it.

BambooHr is the most intuitive HR software available
My company had a lot of manual processes before we started using Bamboo. Bamboo simplified these procedures and freed up time that I could put toward other responsibilities. A certification tracking system was recently implemented. It wasn't as easy to set up as I'd hoped, but with the help of customer service, we're all set up and everyone (including managers) is getting reminders about upcoming courses and certifications.
PROSAs an HR manager, BambooHR equips me with resources to improve workers' lives on the job. In times of need, I receive prompt assistance from BambooHR. Simply put, Bamboo HR is a joy to work with. It's user-friendly enough for small businesses without a human resources department to implement and utilize with no training.
CONSIf we had a little more leeway, we could replace the generic performance assessment questions with ones specific to our company.
Reasons for switching to BambooHR
When compared to the alternatives we've looked into, the costs are low, and the system can scale with your business. Modules (payroll, performance) can be added on as needed, allowing you to scale up only when you're ready to do so.
