About TalentComp

TalentComp is a standalone compensation management solution suitable for businesses of all sizes. It can be deployed as a cloud-based or on-premise solution. TalentComp tracks employee compensation and performance history. Information can also be aggregated from any payroll or HRIS system. The system displays summary pool information for raises and bonuses, and it includes the ability to manage multiple currencies, companies and languages. All increases and recommendations are routed electronically, so supervisors can approve, make changes or return to managers for adjustment. Great experience with TalentComp!

Pros

Software is extremely flexible, support team is top notch and is available around the clock.

Cons

As with any software, there can be limitations of functionality, even with development work.

Reasons for switching to TalentComp

Previous software did not facilitate multi-currency, multi-country merit cycles without an enormous amount of configuration work and general functionality was too rigid limiting the end user experience.

Very happy with the product, our managers feels it provides efficiencies in our annual performance cycle and compensation planning cycles

The annual process is a bit cumbersome to relaunch the tool.

Stop Using Spreadsheets for Salary Admin - TalentComp is a lifesaver!!!

From start to finish, it was a great process. We are very happy with the final product.

Pros

There are so many things that made the transition to TalentComp the best solution for our Salary Admin process, one of the top reasons is the ability to have managers route their recommendations through the hierarchy and have an audit trail. In our legacy process, we had an excel spreadsheet for each department, we have 32 departments and had to route and track changes for 32 spreadsheets! It was madness! The software's reporting capabilities was not complex and they were able to provide a template report to look exactly like our Excel version of the process. Integration was great and very easy. Our tech was responsive and knowledgeable and if he did not have the answer he would find out and respond timely. The whole process took about 8 weeks. I will say that once we rolled out the new process to our managers, I felt like I had so much extra time during a very busy chaotic time of year. We are very happy with the finished product and our managers enjoyed using the system as well!

Honestly, there was nothing that we did not like about the software!

We support over 40 different Review Forms; without paPlus, we would have a very difficult time controlling these. TalentComp has completely automated our annual Merit Increase process and is used by all Managers and Supervisors.

Pros

We use paPlus to administer all Review Forms and TalentComp to apply all Merit Increases each year. After initial startup and with annual enhancements, this product now serves us very well in both of those areas.

Cons

Integration with existing business processes was not difficult. Administration of TalentComp is somewhat non-intuitive, but Admins can eventually find their way around without issue.
