Paycom is a cloud-based payroll management solution that enables organizations to automate payroll processes. The platform stores all employee-related data in one place and ensures that changes are reflected in real-time across the system. The product also provides an in-person client specialist to each customer who requests help.

Paycom is able to create reports that can be imported to other accounting solutions. The expense management feature automates the expense reimbursement process and defines rules, categories and parameters for employees to monitor claims. Employees can also upload bills related to expenses by using a self-service portal available within the tool.

Paycom is able to debit payroll taxes on time, depositing them on or before due dates and handles all other payroll tax filings. Other features offered by the solution include garnishment management, online payroll processing and payroll analytics. Paycom is ACA compliant and handles all requirements related to 1094 and 1095 reporting.

    It is easy o sign in and out and keep track of your time.

    I do not have any problems with this product. You can download it as an app and have it easy to access.

    Paycom is a wonderful tool for small to medium organizations looking for a single system to manage Human Resources related tasks and processes. Employees spend less time managing their time, information, and benefits which results in more productivity. Performance management has become more visible organization-wide

    Pros

    Performance management is a key feature that allows me to efficiently track and manage my team's performance. Instead of a one-time, resource consuming performance review cycle, Paycom allows me to add notes throughout the year so end-of-year performance reviews become a snap.

    We recently implemented Paycom expense which has streamlined submitting and approving team and department expenses. A key feature is the ability to create expense templates for monthly recurring expenses, saving valuable time and energy.

    Benefits management simplifies what could be a complex process to research, understand, and enroll in company sponsored benefits. In particular, a single dashboard displays all of your employee benefits making it easy to find what you're looking for and make changes along the way.

    Cons

    We've recently tapped into Paycom's My Learning module. I'd like to see an investment in content development areas like security and compliance to further leverage Paycom as the main source for employee training.

    Paycom's UI design and navigation feels outdated compared to similar software.

    What I like most about this software is that it is easy to use. It provides a tutorial if you have any questions. It is easy to request time off as an employee but also approve my team members time off, and edit their time cards if needed. The app is also great because if someone forgets to approve their time card, it can be done from home. I also really like that I can view my paystubs as well with just a click. Paycom is a very proficient software and I would recommend it for businesses.

    Cons

    The thing I like least about Paycom is the length of time it takes to log in. It almost always looks like I am late for my position because it takes time to answer the questions to log in. I realize they are for security but I would like the process to be a little smoother perhaps by not as many questions.

    Paycom is user friendly on the client end of the program. It is easy to add in mew employees and access all their information.

    Cons

    Paycom is not as user friendly froman employee stand point. I have had several issues where I have to reset employees passwords because paycom is asking for security questions that were actually never even entered by the employee

    I like the simplistic user interface, bold logos and overall ease of use. All HR functions centralized in one place is key. However, not familiar with competitors and how paycom stacks up.

    Cons

    There are truly no changes I would make to the current product. I preferred the old look and feel but have come around on the new website template.

    Cons

    Since the software allows you to use one or more of the services Paycom offers, I think it would be ideal if that function is primary to what is visible when you go on the website instead of the extra features that you may never use.

    You are able to see all of your import documents easily.

    Our paycom rep is extremely knowledgeable and usually quick to respond to our needs. Once you know what you are doing in paycom, it is fairly easy to navigate and the functionality is strong.

    Cons

    If you are a first time user, it is going to take you awhile to get comfortable with Paycom. There are a lot of features available, but not a lot are offered, meaning you have to pay big dollars to really unleash the real potential lying in Paycom.

    My overall experience is very positive. As a user, I would highly recommend this software for any small to mid-size organizations.

    Pros

    Paycom is a very easy platform for administering/managing payroll, benefits, and year end tax forms. User can easily access paystubs, W2's, and benefits information via PC or their mobile app. User friendly for the entire team, and it has saved a lot of time when we process payroll each week. Integrates well with other applications as well.

    Cons

    Limited features in comparison to other software in this category. Also, the mobile app needs some improvement as it occasionally crashes.

    I like the the fact that it has sections for virtually everything an employee might need such as benefit information and paystubs.

    Cons

    The app freezes a lot or locks you out with no ability to reset password on your own. It has sections that you may need but they aren't functional which is even more frustrating.

    I am a daily user of this product and have never had a problem. It allows me to add my hours from anywhere using the mobile app. This has helped me so much in keeping up on hours worked.

    Pros

    It is so easy to put in hours, time and millage as an employee. I am also able to keep track of all my information from my employer.

    With Paycom, processing payroll is an easier task. automates the processes of recruitment and selection. easy to find candidates, follow up, hire and fill vacancies faster and very simple. "the module of extra benefits is great .. good document management support and / or customer service is of the best...

    the learning curve, the implementation, the basic configuration is very long, intense and delicate, ... definitely the access can be improved (More simple). The reports are not very representative and lacking in customization, the UI / UX experience is not the best, difficulty moving through the system.

    The best thing I can say about the product is that the landing page is all on a page. It the color green is ok

    Cons

    Where do I start. I test them on my small company. For the number of employees this company had. It took forever to set it up. First, the setup team told me to give them all my accounts we use. Did that, but they fail to mention the format they needed. Promise my whole staff would train on the system. Only gave one person a brief training on the system. So many steps to do simple tasks like pay employees or run reports. They do not know the payroll laws of the states where the service customers.
    Sale reps are very pushy about sale you more then you need

    As far as the routing payroll, payroll tax, etc. functions, Paycom is as competent as any of the other software out there. The reports are clean and easy to read. Processing is fairly quick and painless.

    Cons

    The service from this company is horrendous. Even when we reached out to add enhancements, they did not respond promptly. When searching for a new HRIS platform, we inquired as to their product, but they did not even show any interest in presenting to us. Poor.
