Simply Magical

My experience has been wonderful from the very start. The Become Unmistakable folks are not only great people to work with, they are authentic. Just when I think that uMap can't get any better, it does. How? Thanks for asking. They ask their clients and take the feedback and then work on solutions. This may be odd to hear but this isn't done through some random questionnaire or survey, they actually talk to you and it is a conversation. It amazes me how this tool can deepen connections between myself and those in our company. It is entirely common that when stories are shared via the uMap that people come away feeling more a part of the team and organization.

PROS

Like? More like LOVE! There are many aspects of uMap that I like but the one thing I love more than anything else is how it creates a space for deepening connections, shared stories/experiences and a more impactful space for engagement.

CONS

It really isn't the fault of uMap in general but the one thing that I disliked was the internal acceptance of others to realize how leveraging this could improve engagement across the board. Granted, there will always be people who will want to express their individualism, and resist for the mere sake of simply resisting but when they experience the magic of uMap, they love it. At that point, I resist. Resist saying, "See? I told you so." to "Welcome to the club. I am so happy that you see how great this is."

Great experience with the entire uMap team and the tool.

PROS

Umap account managers and software designers recognize no two companies are the same. Both worked with us to modify the use of uMap that fits more to our current needs with the goal of using uMap capabilities down the road.

CONS

uMap is a great product and there wasn't anything I disliked.

A good engagement tool

Positive. Keeps people involved. Keeps people knowing that their manager knows where they stand on things.

PROS

Puts people slightly vulnerable which is where growth occurs in relationships.

CONS

Please, make the pictures enlarge when you mouse over them. Some of our people have multiple people in pictures and you can't see anything because they are so small. At least let us click on th epictures to take us to a larger version, if not enlarge it just by mousing over it.

uMap for Positive Outcomes

PROS

The thing I like most about uMap is being able to connect on a more personal level with my team. Helping to push them toward their goals can be done in a more meaningful way. I also appreciate the Key Performance Indicators section. These are the items that I encourage my team to strive for each day. And when the time is right, hitting something off my team's "Favorites" section is fun for me and them!!

CONS

Getting started was the hardest part. Turns out, I was overthinking it. Once I got on a roll, it was fun. My team and I have our printed uMaps hanging on our office doors :)
