It's super easy to search for files and the autocomplete works like a charm while coding.

This is my go-to Development environment for anything PHP and laravel related. It's worth every penny and a Joy to develop with.

Incredibly useful for me as a full stack developer that works on both front and backend with an stack like VueJS and Laravel.

I like tools inside this software, it's designed for professionals. It has a bunch of integrations for everyday development and has very useful tools, to do you everyday work all in one.

The price can be a disadvantage, they offer the free version for students, and I think it takes too long to open the program, I usually don't close to avoid this delay to open the first time.

The time saved is clearly worth the price of PHPStorm.

I didn't find anything to bother me. A few times it disconnected me from the SQL database, but it was probably caused only by the failure of the Internet connection.

Learning curve can be a bit frustrating when you're moving from something much simpler.

The Git plugin in particular is very helpful and removes the need for any other git UI client, giving me an all in one solution for development.

PhpStorm is hard run on low end computers since it uses a lot of RAM, especially if you need to open couple of project simultaneously.

Plus its coding suggestions to improve as per chosen coding standards and templates is great. A large number of built-in keyboard shortcuts plus feature of adding custom short cuts is great.

The price point is the main issue with PhpStorm, with there being no community edition available.

Best way to format XML data and see flows for a XML schema. We can create sample XML payload if we have complete schema using this.

Straightforward interface. Customer support was excellent although typical menu system to talk to a real person.

I like the new XBRL Taxonomy Manager in XML Spy 2021 which helps to manage XBRL taxanomies across the different Altova applications. XML Spy will always be my first choice of XML editors.

I have found it nearly indispensable when designing complex schemas. The interface is intuitive and it makes easy actions easy and difficult actions possible.

I like that it allows you to validate the files you are working with against a schema fairly conveniently.

I use this software to create, view, and edit XML and WSDL files for our platform. The ease of use allows me to come in with no prior experience and be able to pick up the format quickly.

Overall I believe it's a very good tool to format XML data, create XML from XML schema and also to troubleshoot and fix any error in XML payload.

This software allows a user to easily create and view XML and WSDL files in multiple ways. The text is presented in an easy to read format that is miles about standard text editors.

Always, need a paid version. Sometimes all options are not easily identifiable.

One downside is that the program will change the default file association for txt files, making XML Spy the default.
