EZOfficeInventory is a cloud-based inventory management solution designed for companies of all sizes. It offers barcode scanning, supplier management, re-order management, purchasing and usage tracking.

The inventory management functionality of the solution allows users to track inventory levels using QR codes and barcode tags. EZOfficeInventory features a mobile app with the barcode and QR code scanning functionality, which allows users to track their inventory using mobile devices.

GPS tracking capabilities allow users to track items’ location. This feature helps users track their assets on an interactive map and identify lost and misplaced assets. The solution offers a REST-based API that integrates with other REST-based systems.

Customized reporting and dashboards help users track and monitor assets and users are able to analyze historical inventory data and make decisions regarding their inventory management practices. The solution integrates with third-party applications such as Zendesk, Dropbox, Salesforce and OneLogin. Pricing is per month and is based on a number of users and items. Support is through email.

Anything I had an issue with I emailed them about & some were included in future enhancements rolled out.

Pros

I really like the reporting features & ability to create custom fields. If you dream it, you can track it. I've created custom fields to not only track certain items for reporting purposes, but have created some to provide me automated notifications.

Pros

The inventory management system has definitely saved our business time and energy in tracking inventory. It's not the most beautiful design, but what it lacks in looks it makes up for in functionality.

Cons

I've looked at other options with a better interface, user experience that were also less expensive, but this inventory management system really met all of our needs.

Keeping track of tools in office and whats out on what project.

Pros

Ease of use and visibility of assets. Easy to add, check in and check out, see availability and reserve for coming projects.

Cons

Export and mass modification. Might just be that i haven't used it long enough to get this. only been a user for 4days

Asset tracking is better than excel

Pros

Very easy to use and everything is set up nicely. The app scans very quickly and allows for quick and easy use

Cons

The app always crashes every time you close it and so have to always log in and out and you can't change the hard set fields

Making life a lot easier for organization.

Pros

I think the thing that I like the most about this software is the simplicity. It is not asking too much, while also providing all the services I need. What we as a company use this for mostly is asset reservation, which is anything from chairs to tents that we will need for our various projects. We work in an office of about 100 people, all of which use the software frequently, and by frequently I mean every day. That being said I have never experienced a problem with the site being slow, glitchy, or remotely overloaded. I think that speaks loudly to how well it works because when using other websites, such as that for our car reservations, we get problems with the site crashing and typically causing us to waste our time figuring out the problem that the software created for us (when it is supposed to make our lives easier and less stressful).

Cons

This question is a bit tougher because I have not personally ran into any problems with the site, so asking what I like least is a bit tougher to tackle. One thing I will note is the categories that all of the assets are put into are very strict, where a single misspelled word will come up with nothing. I think that allowing the search bar to be a little more lenient and accommodating to small spelling errors, or descriptive words would make life a little easier when one accidentally misspells a word, or cant remember the exact name it might be under.

I have been able to better organize the tools we have, and access that information across multiple devices.

Pros

I like the fact that there are numerous features and I have the option to be as general or as granular as I need to be. I also like the fact that it's able to hold a lot of specific and tagged information, which will be very useful as our organization (and our inventory) grows.

Cons

I'm still trying to learn my way around the user interfeace. I think there are a few things I would like to be more accessible. I have also heard that you can customize it, so I will probably need to learn about that at some point.

The software is very intuitive and user-friendly. Even the most tech-challenged employee in our office can navigate it! We didn't have a good tracking system before and now we can quickly and easily see what is going on with our rental items, stock, and inventory.

Cons

So far we haven't run into any major bugs or issues. It would be nice to group cloned assets together and collapse lists, but not required for the functionality of the software.

The fact that the desktop version and the phone / tablet app are synced. This makes it easy to go back and forth between the two in an efficient manner.

Cons

I would have to say that the only thing I do not like about the software is that you are not able to do administrative functions (e.g. add a new location) on the app/

QR code and the bundle are fantastic the ability to track in a offsite location and the multi user

The time it take to re -enter all the inventory correctly and the printing of all the inventory the App is buggy at times and the group selection sometime are not perfect .Maybe user error

Pros

Variety of features such as depreciation, maintenance tickets, consumables vs. assets, etc. Ease of use especially ability to download data from excel sheets.

Notifications are summed up in few emails not per inventory item which I appreciate. Again the user friendly features and search navigation were easy to use.

Cons

I don't like the time setup during checkout of inventory, more specifically the hour minute set up and toggle arrows to adjust them. The app seemed user friendly but I was not happy with the time it took to scan QR codes.

We are able to track exactly what we have therefore keeping out inventory up to date in stock and we dont have as much waste!

Pros

I like that we can track consumables, they can adjust our plan to increase as we grow with no penalty, customer service is super responsive and trains at our level. We can track things as small as cables or as large as AVL equipment, you can also put managers over just the areas that they oversee, and you can use your own bar codes!!

Cons

I haven't come across any cons as of yet other that we have to track how many log ins to create because we pay per log in.

Pros

Accesibility from various users, and filters on who can see what information. It allows different hierarchy people to use and have access and the company to have control of it.

Taking control of assets made us save money on hiring outsource talent.

Pros

EZ came to organize and solve a lot of long manual process in my workload. I like that us very easy to use, you can add how many assets you want and take control of each of them. This helps you keep an organized list, that whenever you want to search an asset, you will find it right away. The cloud feature is one of the best performance of the platform, giving you access to the database anywhere you want.

Cons

Unwanted features are really hard to disable, I had to call customer service for help and they helped me right away with a nice and professional associate. The time taken to call made me like least this part of the platform.

EZOfficeInventory is fast and efficient, records can be easily edited, it has a lot of data fields, has a barcode feature and overall it makes all inventory listed neat and easy to access. It's a time saver when dealing with a huge volume of informatin

It has a learning curve. This software is really professional and if used by it's full capacity the price isn't an issue at all. We have had some difficulties setting up this software to fit the company needs, but were successful at the end.
