  • Pros

  • The ability to fund and have investors fill out the esignature agreements and have that connect with the investor portal side, is so helpful and a great time saver.
  • Overall, the customer service and product have been outstanding and we have had a great experiencing using the product and our investors love it as well.
  • From the start the IMS staff have been incredibly professional, courteous, responsive, and just nice people. That makes a huge difference.
  • Cons

  • Not having a customer service manager anymore has been a little annoying.
  • The only complaint is setting up some of the more complicated calculations for distributions when there are waterfall calculations.
  • Looks good but has fundamental failures that impede our operations.

  • JS has been a great asset for the company, and I am very happy we went with the platform. Reporting is often very challenging and can bring up a host of issues and take up a lot of time.
  • JS customer service super responsive. Ability to quickly access information about our relationship with an individual investor (i.e. which active and realized investments is an investor in).
  • Overall, we've had a very positive experience with Juniper Square. Their customer service is outstanding and always available to help.
  • Cons

  • This function was previously executed via a number of spreadsheets, was error prone and time consuming. We no longer have to print checks.
  • Juniper Square has significantly reduced the burden of raising and managing capital.
  • Customization to a unique fund structure has been challenging; could use slightly more automation in the future; no calendar feature to keep up with key milestones and dates.
