Pros/Cons
Pros
- It supports a lot of files formats for both documents and video. Integration with GoToMeeting, GoToTraining, and GoToWebinar is a worthy addition.
- The reporting tools are good and allow a level of customization. Their sales guy we worked with was very good and fed us all the information we needed in a timely fashion.
Cons
- In my time using it to develop and implement a course, I haven't discovered any cons. I'll repost here if I find any.
- The biggest deal-breaker for us was the inability to book many conference rooms across our firm for one single event.
Pros
- Great to connect with lecturers and have a unified platform for all courses material. Allows multimedia file transfers and integration with third party application like Turnedin.
- I like it because it is easy to use and it is easily available on internet. You can download it free of cost.
Cons
- There was always the possibility of losing your work if you timed out or hit the wrong key, especially on a laptop.
- I hate that there is not an autosave feature, specially when building quizzes. More than once, I accidentally save the quiz without saving the individual question and loose a ton of work.
