Pros/Cons
Pros
- The documentation is comprehensive and useful. Trialing the software was easy and seamlessly without notable impact on our servers, so you should defenetly give this a try.
- We've found it to be very useful in root cause analysis and troubleshooting network issues. The support staff are amazing and cannot be recommended enough.
- In addition, the web interface is quite slick now. The backend performance (I'm using SQL Server) is fantastic and the site is very responsive.
Cons
- I spent some time over the next few weeks tweaking the settings to tune out some of the "errors" that are really routine events and also correcting problems that we were previously unaware of.
- My organization wouldn't be caught dead without EventSentry because it takes so much of the manual burden off managing servers and other critical applications.
- Coming back to the product after just a couple of years, I was shocked at the number of new features that have been added.
Pros
- The ability to add in extras such as services and application monitoring on top is great.
- Site24x7 is very easy to use, excellent Customer Success outreach to assist in solution evaluation and configuration.
- Very good software for monitoring things like server performance or any website performance. Good to operate from both mobile and desktop and customer support of this organisation is very good.
Cons
- Connectivity to the cloud is somehow restricted for government agencies in Saudi Arabia.
- UI seems overloaded, sometimes user can get confused where to go.
- There are almost to many things you can monitor. The licensing pricing model can be hard to understand also.
