ECP (Extended Care Professional) is the easiest to use, all-in-one software platform built for assisted living communities, memory care, and IDD/group homes. Unlike systems adapted from hospitals or skilled nursing facilities, every module in ECP is designed around how assisted living workflows actually operate.

The system supports digital signatures, state-specific compliance reports, and an executive dashboard for full community visibility. CRM ECP's CRM is built for senior living sales cycles. So glad we made the switch. ECP is comprehensive and customer support is excellent. Favorite feature was being able to customize the RAT to trigger service plan questions.

Customer support, ability to customize service plans to RAT, ability to enter in late entries, dashboard information with ability to drill down, easy to use

Cons:

Rigid programming that prevents what feels like simple adjustments - attaching a note to the email when sending the service plan out, being able to bold items in the tasks for staff to see important things

I love that everything is in one place. My role in ECP as the BOM is easy and simple. It's easy to find information needed and to keep track of observation notes as well.

Cons:

Nothing, I think it's perfect for our facility. Never to many issues. The only time I got frustrated was when it went down for a day, but other than that its been geat.

Ease of use. The help and knowledge base as well as the staff trainings make learning streamlined. Customer support and Q & A sessions give us an opportunity to learn the answers to the questions we have not even asked yet.

Cons:

That it logs me out saying it has "timed out due to inactivity" but I was using it at the time. Due to our location internet dependent software can be an issue at times.

Resident Documents Not User Friendly

There are too many fields that need to be completed but don't tell you what form they are for until you pull up each form individually and then update the forms from that place

that I can have my documents and resident files in one location. The old way was separate companies doing the documents and so it was housed in a different location.

the document portion is difficult for families to utilize. Unless they want to sign right away they are unable to view the documents prior to signing

Customer support is always awesome. I never feel like I am wasting their time. Very patient and supportive. The whole system is very user friendly. Documentation is easy to use, and resident management is also super user friendly.

Cons:

I struggle with the "build a report" feature. There's almost too many choices and a few of the options can be a little confusing.

Pros:

ECP is a fairly easy product for documenting care provided and medications for our residents, so it's easy to teach newer staff how to do so. It is easy to add new residents when they are moving in, and create care plans for them. Security settings seem good. When there are issues, the customer support team is easy to contact and they seem very willing to help try to resolve the issues in a timely manner.

Cons:

Changes are made often, probably trying to improve the product, but along with the changes seem to come glitches at times or parts that stop working until we do a ticket to have it looked at.

More pros than cons. I love the ECP team and how easy it is to reach them with questions; I love how \[sensitive content hidden\] has been on top of trainings and online trainings. He answers all our questions and really explains the processes, so it is understood.

Pros:

The ease in which the program works. It makes training others very easy. It is also good to have everything we need to do our jobs in one place.

Cons:

Some of the reports that we need ECP does not have them. When we ask for a report to be added we get told they are working on it, but it never gets resolved.

Customer support has been fast, reliable, and friendly every time I have needed them. I am pleased with this program. It is easy to navigate. There are a few things that I would like to see in the future but overall this is a really great program to use!

Cons:

It makes you click to many "okay" boxes after you have clicked okay or complete. Kind of repetitive. I can't type in a medication and it show me a list of all residents that take that medication. I would love to have that. Sometimes I wish there were a way for me to see all resident instead of just one side at a time. There may be but I don't know about it if there is.

Pros:

Easy to navigate, easy to train new staff for simple operations like charting. I was able to train myself on how to use it, however I know there is probably more that is can do and I am not utilizing it to full potential.

Cons:

The MAR is not user friendly. I have reported issues with med times being back dated to ECP with no resolution and it is still causing issues. Scheduling tasks is confusing for new staff. Need more access to in-depth online training so upper admin can really utilize ECP for all it can do.
