Pros/Cons
Pros
- CATIA is the best software for surfacing, rendering and analysis as I used. For personnel use it is quite expensive but perfect for industry.
- It is very easy to learn. The main advantage in this software is we can switch between modules to have better design features.
- It is also best to see machining simulation, provide all the details about it like manufacturing time and all process details.
Cons
- D age module is truly poor; hence we generally utilize different apparatuses to make 2D's. Permit charge can be an issue for individual or little organization uses.
- Poor technical drawing performance, long loading time.
- The software is hard to master. It has too many options which means you need to learn a lot of options.
Pros
- Great customer support - I always get an almost immediate response, with great follow-through. Reliability - all things considered, it is down very seldom.
- We were really excited about the features in quickbase, particularly the ability to edit columns and other fields after databases were initially created.
- It can integrate with other tools such as excel, salesforce and others that help with making work super easy for us managers.
Cons
- Conversion and data migration took a while, not because of QuickBase but because of how horridly "dirty" the data were on the sales management side.
- If a server goes down, all work has to stop. The same thing stops if it's overloaded.
- It takes a lot of clicks to get somewhere. A minor issue really, but I find it irritating to have to 10 things to get what I want because the search function isn't particularly sensitive.
