Pros/Cons
Pros
- Customer service has been outstanding to help me learn features and problem solve. Very friendly and helpful.
- I appreciate how much this software has helped me fix my inventory issues. I also love that when I have an issue that I do not know how to resolve, I can schedule a call and get live support.
- Fast, powerful, easy to learn, with a clean and consistent connection to QuickBooks Online. Great user interface and robust support materials.
Cons
- I've encounter a lot of bugs that are quickly fixed, but interfere with projects and daily work. The margins and costs info is a little untrustworthy and hard to read when looking for errors.
- Sometimes it slows in operation which is mildly annoying. This could probably be fixed with some more servers in our geographic region.
- I'm missing one feature, but it's more due to the specific nature of my business.
Pros
- It has improved a lot and, at this time, I think is the best simulation software. As a profesor and a researcher, my students and I take advantage of its flexibility, easy of use, and performance.
- It is a good simulation software with easy to understand charts and reports. Its visuals are very good and easy to use.
- People are pleased with the quality of the visual output and now that we can use the Occulus Rift to provide an immersive experience, there is even more to be pleased about SIMIO.
Cons
- More slow for complex simulations. I don't find any other disadvantage.
- They sometimes seem to get stuck against each other instead of walking around each others.
- Too much clicks required. Lack of quick programming shorcuts.
